Sparking Zero looks awesome, performes quiet well (on a RTX 3080 12GB in 2560x1440p and 133% res at around 120 Fps) and most important the gameplay is as good as expected, even faster than Tenkaichi 3. All the most important characters from the old game are available. The DLCs will add even more like from Dragon Ball Super Super Hero.

There are some things which shoud be adressed, like we need more different stages and costumes for some characters and the shader compiling could be better.


What a comeback. Pure nostalgica for me. Old combos still work like they did in Tenkaichi 3 all those years ago. Feels like Tenkaichi 3 but with even more possibilities to create combos. The creator mode is awesome. You can literally create story fights from Tenkaichi 3 with special circumstances. All in all everything I had hoped for.
A few years ago I didn't really thought a Dragon Ball game would ever surpass Tenkaichi 3 for me, not Xenoverse (1 or 2), not FighterZ (I don't think these type of Beat 'em Up suit Dragonball enough) or Kakarot. Hell, even Raging Blast 2 all these years ago didn't fell better than Tenkaichi 3 for me. But here we are.

A new pinnacle of a Dragonball Game.
