Game is feels really constraining in the tools you get to fight the bosses,
your toolset is extremely limited and you move super slow but you're expected to dodge like a rabbit on cocaine.

The gathering and crafting stuff on normal settings is also a huuuuge grind.

I feel the creators made some design decisions that are just too anti-fun.

Lovely factory building game brought down to the bare bones of factory building. That way you can really concentrate on how you want to build it all.

Revised:
The really good games have a simple system that fires up your creativity and let's you play around with said system.
This game does not have that.

Since launch they've added more decoration items so you don't have to keep reusing the same single painting but it's still just not worth the 15 bucks pricetag.

Lovely little city builder with an interesting water mechanic to it.

While it has some cool stuff the best word to describe it is mediocre.

Good:
The lockpicking mini-game that is an actual puzzle instead of the old 'find the right spot'
The lvling system is an interesting combo between Fallout levels and perks, and ES 'improve what you use'
The persuasion mini-game is also fun IMO

The not so good or crappy stuff:
The menu's are slow and cumbersome, i honestly installed a few QoL mods about 10 hours into my first playthrough, something i usually only do after completing at least 1 vanilla run.

The outpost building system is so bare bones i don't wanna play with it (while i actually liked building settlements in Fallout 4), there isn't even a basic set of foundations or stairs.

The ship building is also quite restrictive, there are so many parts that would have fit perfectly in my design if only i could rotate it to what i want, instead of the 2 options usually given. And i'm talking about super basic rotations here, like being able to rotate a hab to be perpendicular instead of lengthwise.

So far, companions are kinda bland, and apparently there are only 4 romance options in total, 2 men 2 women, all of which are part of the main quest faction and are all very moral.

The overland map is utterly atrocious, truly terrible. There isnt even a city map so you can find where you wanna go. I cannot stress enough how crappy it is, it literally isnt a map.

The gunfights so far all boil down to: Find a bit of cover, and point and click.

All that said, somehow i'm still enjoying myself, and i do plan on playing for quite a bit more, but i think that mainly that i just really really like this genre of game and setting.

This game isnt worth the full price, get it on a BIG discount. I got it for 40 bucks, and that's still too much.

Addendum: Played some more of the main story, and it got really really cool, haven't played NG+ though but that's totally on my todo list.

Such a good game. Basically DnD 5e but in PC game form. With so much good stuff from Divinity Original Sin 2 as well. If you love DnD this is the game for you. If you love DOS2 this is the game for you (although you'll need to learn the system ofc)

Something that really amazed me was the sheer perfection of the characters animation in conversations, all these gestures and facial expressions, for each character.

Any gripes i have are just me nitpicking.

I had a lot of fun playing.

The story is kind of generic, but that's part of it's flair honestly.
Conversations can be lengthy, and there are a lot of them, i can get tired of this :S
Facial animations are a bit flat.

The rest is just super. Cool combat, cool 'deck' building, fun characters, cool progression.
I really love that there is no timer and you can just keep doing side missions to your hearts content.

Just played through after giving CD Project Red time to remove all the bugs.

Most of em are gone, sometimes a UI bugs makes me save and reload so whatever.

Now, the game is super cool.
Coolish combat
Cool story
Super immersive and rich area and characters.

Worth it
