Honnestly, I was in tears this whole weekend. Learning of the PSN account requirement that would banish so many Helldivers from playing the game was heart-wrenching (not all countries can make a PSN account and doing one in another country than yours could open you up for a ban according to SONY terms of service). This would mean that many friendships made in these 3 months and forged in the hellish heat and fire of battle would be irrevocably lost, dying and diseappearing without a cry in the world... Never to see your battle brothers and sisters side by side with you again, ready to fight with you trough and against all odds and it's overwhelming ennemies.

Then I saw the overwhelming review bombing by the community toward the game on steam, on reddit, everywhere. It was so impressive in it's size and direction toward a common objective. This is something I've never seen in this amplitude, a whole community fighting together, no matter what, to make their voices heard in their opposition to SONY's decision by all means possible.

Sincerely, I didn't participate in the review bombing because I thought this would be the end of the game and of Arrowhead studio which could'nt be more sad as they are just a wonderfull team of passionate people. I thought that whatever we do, we couldn't make a positive difference this way and the only end possible would be the total annihilation of this whole dev studio, game and community...

And I was just proved today how wrong I was about all of this. This is not a game about ''I'' individually, this is a game about ''WE'' as a squad and as a whole community. Thanks to the amazing community SONY rectacted their decision about PSN account linking and now the game jumps again even higher than it was before !

I have done nothing for this to happend and to succeed in this way and I'm seriously humbled and in tears again by what the community, as a whole collective has achieved against all odds. But this time, it is tears of joy.

The community, this community, my brothers and my sisters of battle taught me this : immobility in the fear of total loss achieve nothing but your death and the death of your squad, your community and of your game. You have to fight no matter what, side by side with your battle brothers and sisters till the very end, whatever it may be. Make your voice heard, make a difference. Together we are unstoppable. And so we won. Again, Against impossible odds.

Now, humbled and thanksfull toward all of you Helldivers, I'm doing my part by leaving this review. Heartfull Thanks to all of you Helldivers, without you, nothing would have been possible, nothing would've happened. You did the impossible while knowing it was impossible. You have done it despite not knowing if you would succeed or fail. And you won !

This community is the best. The game is great, the devs are awesome and your squad is akin to family.

Fight together for what is in your heart and never back down.
