That user from Maneater forum must be a Tencent / Epic / Tripwire shill, but without the official badge (e.g. moderator or developer tag). They keep defending that bad storefront / launcher even when they previously stated they don't care about it. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Keywords from a fresh reply: "none of the games on Epic are unsuccessful or mediocre" ; "they are now adopting hidden indie gems to be featured[...]".

This clearly demonstrates the opposite of NOT caring about that store.

If only Valve would ban those users who promote storefront competitors... iirc advertising is NOT allowed on forum discussions, yet Valve chose not to enforce that rule for some reason.
