Team Bloober really outdid themselves with this remake. The overall atmosphere, sound design, graphics, and voice acting, and story telling are incredible and do the original game justice. There are some performance and stuttering issues with the game. Also, about halfway through, the amount of enemies thrown at you is too high with very little variety.

A RPG so good that other game developers were mad that the bar was risen too high.

I was a little worried that EA would mess up one of my favorite horror franchises but they managed to created one of the better remakes to have released within the last couple years. Also i'm surprised that we didn't have to deal with Origin / EA play and micro-transactions.

Everything has been upgraded in this version of the game and is by far the most definitive way to play. There is voice acting now for Issac, the level design is more open and more logically placed in relation to where it is on the ship, the graphics have been greatly improved (no ray-tracing on shadows or global illumination though), and segments of the game that were less fun have been overhauled.

Currently the best hybrid RTS/4X game available. Released in a rough state, but several patches and the addition of the Immortal Empires game mode has improved the game.

Note: You must own the both of the previous games in order to play Immortal Empires. Not sure why it doesn't let you play with just the WHIII factions.

While the game had some bugs and weak RPG elements, its overall atmosphere, gameplay, and story are very strong and entertaining.

One of the best uses of time travel to tell a compelling narrative.

Great concept but poor execution on every aspect of the game with the exception of the combat. The core objective of the game is too repetitious with very little variation in the maps, objectives, and bosses. Gameplay consists of rushing to find three clues, rushing to fight the bounty, engaging players if needed, and then rushing to the exit. The game is fun for a short amount of time but quickly gets old. Not worth picking up, even on sale.
