This is a secret gem of a game. Graphics may look low end but it is really a good game. It is a modern spiritual successor of the old wuxia game jing yong quan xia zhuan. ok, i know its not, but based on graphics alone, it does feel that way, just many times better. BUT the fun part are the mini quests that you do along the way. Its literally like a 2D pixel Baldur's Gate. Don't like the guy, kill him. Or gift him stuff till he joins your party. Accidentally killed someone. Its ok, in your next play through don't. or maybe still kill him. BUT in your next play through you will be so much stronger. The more achievements you unlock, the stronger you will be. It's my 6 or maybe 7th playthrough now. and i am still learning new stuff. Gosh, can't wait for the full release. BUT IT'S 10 DAYS MORE OF WAITING!!! =(

If you love playing Fallout 1 and & 2 and games like wasteland, you will love this game. In many ways, i would consider this to be the spiritual successor to the original fallout from Interplay rather than the later versions.

Played both the Chinese Version and then this.

This is a game which is a remade version of another game called Wulin Quan Xia Zhuan. (Martial Arts Legend). Now in 3D, game play is more interesting and fun. The English Text is a direct translation of the chinese version. Try as they might to translate, some of the words are just nouns. i.e. "YaMen" the closest to that word would be court/prison.

Still if you're trying to play a real kungfu game, this is the best you can find (translated to english). Some of the stories within are lifted of louis cha (Jing Yong) stories.

Some parts of the game remain untranslated. could be an oversight.. like the part where they give you a chart of the meridians and told you to memorise it. That chart is in chinese. But when your master ask you to find the meridian, he mentioned it in hanyu pinyin. To none native speakers, that poses a problem. It would help if they can translate those as well. (however, it's still playable, look for the walkthrough online, that or guess a couple of times and hope you get lucky.)

The begining might make no sense to a first time player as this is part 2 in the series. Nonetheless, the game play is solid and story is interesting.

Awesome Game, where do I begin? Is it a WW2 Game? Somewhat.. Is it JRPG? Perhaps.. Sci - Fi? Abit of that as well. What is incredible about this game is that it somehow blends all of the above elements into a fantastic movie anime game. Smooth flowing graphics and music as well as in depth character build ups. It is a worth while investment.

Its also not as simple as it looks. Much strategy is required in order to play this well. Re started a few times just to get it right. Choose the right team and you might just do well..

Recommened. Looking forward to part 2.
