I'm really happy that we have a game where cities can evolve naturally around points of interest. Many city building games feel unrealistic because of how much micromanaging goes into it. I prefer it like this, where you build the important infrastructure, monuments, or community spaces and communities build themselves around them.

There are a few UI and QoL issues present in the game, but the devs are already working to address them and have put out patches that have fixed some of the more annoying UI issues. I look forward to seeing where this game goes.

Collective action is cool

I've played this game and its predecessor for thousands of hours of my life. No game before or after I stumbled upon this series has been so worth the money. I don't know if Paradox could ever ♥♥♥♥ up big enough for me to think of them as a bad company, they have given me so great a gift.
