There are some mmos where you can buy the game make a character load it up and play solo. This is not one of those games. Most negative reviews seem to be based on getting randomly killed in the graveyard this is part of the game and working as intended. this is a complex game that has a slight learning curve as far as the character builds. if you want to enjoy this game you need to join a guild, if you are new do not play this solo you will hate it. join a guild get in a discord tell people what you want to do and learn. As far as the actual functionality of the game there is a lot missing and some serious bugs many people leave a negative review just for those alone and i cant disagree with them, game is buggy as hell, but still fun enough that i keep playing. I would give 3 out of 5

Too grindy, too many bugs, endgame GS bench marking thing is too repetitive, war is broken.

Warthunder should be a schedule 1 substance. The grind is stupid. Once you get to the top tier, you have to pay just to repair your vehicle, which is ridiculously expensive. The potential of unlocking a tank or plane that you want to play keeps you playing. Once you get that vehicle, you realize it is not as great as you thought, and you pour another 100 hrs into something else.

My advice would be to not even start with this, but if you do stay at mid to low tier and enjoy playing those because higher tier is just plain ridiculous and not worth the risk of losing all your money when you lose one vehicle with an expensive repair.

frame rate is bad, maps are flat and linear, tanks cant drive though tiny stumps or trees, most of the time you join a squad where nobody works as a team. Go play squad.
