Not sure what has happened, but I am unable to launch the game. My negative review will remain until this issue is fixed since it seems to be happening to lots of players.

Great game, glad Sony decided they are irrelevant.

Never thought I would live to see the day that a CAR RACING GAME is racist. But here it is. Why? Just why?? To see Criterion Games go from awesome games like the Burnout series to this woke trash is just sad. The story is absolute garbage & I turned off all dialog after about 3 hours, probably sooner. The soundtrack, OMG the soundtrack. I thought my ears were going to start bleeding. The music is the worst I've ever heard & I love music. Turned it off straight away. The graphics are pretty good, gameplay is ok. The cars handle like they're on ice half the time & even with NFS: Heat, there is one thing that I noticed straight away about these games: unless you're doing 300kph+ it doesn't feel like you're going fast at all. So what's with that? In the Burnout games, I felt like my face was going to melt off half the time, especially when I hit nitro. This & Heat just isn't that, not even close. Has Criterion Games forgotten how to make a good racing game? Looks like it. Maybe just focus on making a solid racing game again & forget about all the diversity check boxes that no one cares about. Also, all this customisation stuff is mostly a waste of time. Keep the performance upgrades, but get rid of the majority of the customisation garbage. It just bloats the game & memory, as well as money, can be spent on far more important things. Like game play.

Great game. Fans of the Harry Potter franchise should like this game. Lots to explore & discover, even more if you're an achievement hunter like me or just one of those people that wants to see & experience everything a game like this has to offer. Quite difficult on the harder settings & you will need potions, so you will be spending a decent amount of time making them. There is so much to see in the castle as well and I loved every minute of exploring it. Some forgettable/hollow characters, but overall, an amazing experience. Graphics, sounds & soundtrack all outstanding. Huge map with lots to do, once again, great game.

Seriously awesome game. Probably better than Serious Sam 4 in a lot of ways. It is definitely funnier. Good graphics, great gun play, massive levels (even though there are only 5), & great Sam-style humour. This is seriously a must for Serious Sam fans...seriously.

I can't recommend this game in good faith. The Devs are just greedy & use this game as a cash cow. Avoid.

Best Batman Akham game by far, outstanding in every way & loved every minute of it. If you're a fan of the series what are you doing even bothering to read this, just get it.

Really great game. Good story, great humour, amazing graphics in some places, great gun play & I loved the voice acting. The score combos are fun & makes getting kills interesting, especially for environmental kills and the survival co-op was pretty fun as well. Having the Duke Nukem DLC made things pretty interesting as well as it makes all the main story voice lines for Grayson, Duke Nukem. It was funny as hell. Highly recommend checking this game out.

Worst game in the series by far & I'm really not sure how people are saying that the game play is the best it's ever been. It's just standard Borderlands game play, which is good yes but I would argue that BL:TPS game play was better. There's really nothing new here in terms of game play, the only new additions is the slide (which I never used especially in combat) and switching fire modes for SOME of your weapons (which once again, I never used it as I didn't see the point of changing an automatic weapon to a semi-auto when there are 20 enemies shooting at me). You can use 2 Action skills at once, but if you do, you can't use grenades. Mayhem Mode was just poorly executed and sloppy in every way, Badass rank was so much better. It just seemed like Gearbox didn't want to bother making harder difficulty settings and just wanted the player to do it for them. The playable characters are all part of the LGBTQ community (even the robot: FL4K...it's a robot) which makes it completely unrelatable for me and the majority.

The graphics are just...weird. It doesn't even look or feel like a Borderlands game with the settings on high & to make it look & feel like a Borderlands game, you have to turn the settings down, which I did. Is this because all of the other games were NVidia and this one is AMD? Probably (this is not trying to start an argument on which is better as we all know the answer to that question). Also, for some reason there are SO MANY 'flashy' effects in this game that it literally gave me welders flash so I had to severely limit my play time. There is even a thread on the Gearbox web page dedicated to severe eye strain caused by BL3 (just don't call FL4K he/him or you will be banned from the forum, seriously), with no fix in sight.

Then there's the story...yawn. It's just so bad that I didn't even want to give it a second play through, which I didn't. I actually liked the bad guys, I think they were supposed to be shallow, I think?? If so, they nailed it. But I can understand how everybody hated them. Ava was just a terrible addition to the story, I hated everything about her and every time she opened her mouth just made me want to scream 'STFU' at her. Which makes me sad as it seems like this whole game was a set up to let her take over everything. Want some missions from some of your favourite original BL characters? Better hope they weren't men as they just get pushed to the way side and emasculated which seems to be the whole point of this game: to emasculate men and make women superior in every way. The last cut scene was so cringe that it might as well just be called Borderlands 3: Powerful Woman.

I'm not even going to bother with the DLC's as all of them were bad. I don't have season pass 2 yet and from what I've been hearing, I'm not going to touch it until it's at least $5 AUD and the only reason I want it is because I'm an achievement hunter.

If this is what Borderlands is going to become, I'm out.

TL:DR: Game play: standard BL game play. Story: BAD, SO BAD (woman = strong and good, men = weak and evil). Graphics: get sunglasses to prevent severe eye strain/welders flash.

I'm not sure how other people are saying this game is good & the story is brilliant. The story is garbage & makes no sense at all. Now, before I get piled on for saying this, make no mistake, I understood the story line. It just didn't make any sense & is riddled with plot holes. It doesn't fit in with either Bioshock games, but they tried to make it fit in, unsuccessfully. The game itself was boring & the only reason I put so many hours into it was for the achievements.

There was a couple of good things about this game: Songbird was pretty cool, the graphics are amazing & the voice acting was pretty good. That's pretty much about it. Elizabeth was annoying & just like any other NPC made to follow you around, just constantly got in the way which was infuriating. No 'New Game +' just like Bioshock 2 which annoyed the hell out of me in both games, so you can't upgrade everything that wasn't fully upgraded in the first play through, in the second play through. Guns were under powered, even if you upgraded them fully and you can only hold 2 at any one time. Vox weapons were not even worth bothering with as they all sucked. Plasmids, or Vigors as they're called in this, were mostly boring. Murder of Crows (this games version of the bee Plasmid), Devils Kiss (the fire Plasmid) & Shock Jockey (electric Plasmid) were the only ones even worth using. You can only have 2 'active' Vigors going at any one given time, you can change them to any of the other Vigors, but like i said, only 2 'active'. Level design was terrible and is extremely linear.

I didn't mind the City in the Clouds DLC as it was probably the best part of the entire game, and it's basically just a challenge wave DLC. Burial at Sea part 1 & 2 were just terrible and just made the story worse, which is saying something.

I would only recommend buying this game if it's part of the Bioshock Collection pack and only when said pack is on sale. Otherwise, don't bother. It's a prequel and doesn't fit in with the story of Bioshock 1 or 2, barely even has the feel of a Bioshock game.
