Early Access Review
Please be aware that this game is early access, so as to be expected, there are some technical issues, missing features, and a bit of a lack of content. So temper your expectations appropriately.
However, even in its current state, the game is VERY impressive for what it is, and the future looks very bright for it.
In particular, the dinosaurs look AMAZING. Probably the best looking dinosaurs I've ever seen in a game.
I highly recommend people try it out and support the game's development.

It's very relaxing and fun and has a very sweet little story to go with it. I just wish it was longer and maybe had some more challenging puzzles. For what it is though, it's a very nice little game for when you need a couple hours to just relax and have a good time.

Probably the best overall zoo builder game out there, but there are just a couple things missing that I feel are holding it back from becoming the true successor to Zoo Tycoon. Namely, a proper marine expansion and mod support. If it just had that much more, I could be comfortable saying that it will have finally taken the throne as the best zoo game ever made. For now though, I still say it's a 9/10.

By far the best city builder game ever made. Like, it's really not even close.

At first it seems like this game might be good. Then by the first boss fight you want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill yourself because it's so terrible.

This is probably one of the most unique platforming games I've come across. I've never seen one that had such a strange and unfamiliar non-humanoid style of movement. I'd say the most important thing to know about before getting this game is not to expect it to play like your average platforming game, because if you come in with that expectation, you're probably going to end up frustrated. This is not a fast paced game. You are encouraged to go through the various climbing challenges with a slow, methodical pace, much like a snake would. It's something that can be pretty confusing at first and requires a lot of patience, but once you make sense of the controls, you can tell that the devs put a TON of work into refining how Noodle moves and in perfecting their body's physics. Also, just as one last closing thought, the fact that the protagonist of this game is a snake, and a realistically proportioned one at that. I love snakes a lot and think that a lot of them are very lovely, cute, and affectionate creatures. They get far too much of a negative stigma, so it's nice to see a game that appreciates how great they are.

TLDR: The game is really well made, but don't come in expecting it to be like a normal platformer. It's pretty slow paced and has controls that can be confusing at first (but that's just because of how alien the movement is. It makes total sense once you figure it out.) Highly recommend, especially if you love snakes.

There's a couple of quirks with the game's mechanics that can be a bit irritating at times, but it doesn't really matter overall. The game is really fun with an engaging story that's very authentic to the original Native Alaskan tale. The art style of the game is beautiful and creative, and sometimes even awe inspiring. There's also some moments that tug on the heartstrings and some that fill you with a ton of suspense. The developers put a ton of love and effort into this game and it really shows.
