I decided to wait until the beta preview was over, hoping Tripwire would fix the obvious issues. The update went live a few days ago, and nothing has been fixed.

The update brought:
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robots, one of which has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stunning beam. They discourage shooting heads, are still way too spongy and lack a hard counter.
- A weapon upgrade system that discourages sharing money, because you can probably always get another upgrade. Also why even bring a medic pistol, when you can upgrade your gun instead?
- Removal of reaload canceling, that nobody asked for. This also made parrying worse. Forces you to backpedal and possibly kite more often. You will now spend more time running around instead of actually shooting things.

It is a fun game, but it is worse than it could have been - and worse than it was before. I can not recommend buying it because Tripwire cannot be trusted in making the game better, as they have proven with Killing Floor 1.
