Oh nevermind, I see a play versus AI button now. it's not very pronounced, but I'm very relieved that it's there!

I personally really like the game, because it feels more realistic in its strategy. It can be very limiting in the regard that the SP only takes you so far, there are no AI skirmish modes, and thus you must rely on MP and so when the pop dies (which the pop isn't too huge right now) it may lose pazaaz. By itself though, the game looks beautiful and plays nicely.
