Very very well made, game devs know what they are doing. If you enjoy making your perfect space empire to dominate the stars, this game is for you. If you enjoy making diabolical evil empires who enslave the universe, this game is for you. With thousands of different mods out there, you can also cater to what you find the vanilla version of the game lacks, which isn't much imo.

A little buggy at the moment, but VERY VERY GOOD! Love the game alot, it is very complex (a good thing for me) and is completely customizable. I will spend hours just designing my own custom ships and trying to spec them out. I'd write a longer review, but I'm too eager to get back to my game.

Until the devs fix their servers, this game is a huge pile of crap for any North American player. Expect massive ping on any server that isn't US, and sometimes even on US servers. I have played for two years now, purchased all the DLC, and put a lot of time and effort, but yet their servers are still a steaming pile of dog crap. I am near the point of just giving up (not a rage post, I've been playing for 2 years and it is still bad). This is the only thing holding this game back from becoming a very VERY fun FTP game.

Other than the absolute garbage servers, the game is amazing. Visually awesome, good gameplay, and generally a fun experience as you level up. If you are EU or RU player, go for it, but as for me and anyone else in North America, steer clear.
