Okay so I haven't play a whole lot of this game and already I have to say no.
Bad movement, floaty aiming, terrible gunplay, laughable audio and cringeworthy quotes all add up to the game that is Killing floor 2.

Movement:
You move like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tank and I really mean a tank. your character moves really slow and with sprinting it's as if you think:"Hey this should be the default speed because ♥♥♥♥ man I'm going places." I don't know this was to make it so the gameplay is pulled back a bit and make it more realistic or it make the enemies gang up on you easier.

Gunplay:
The one redeeming factor of this game should be simple: shoot monster and watch their guts spill all over the map like yam on a sandwich. While this is done to a certain extent I sure haven't seen much of it. Enemies have a one track mind, one that is shared with zombies in the fact that they really like walking up to the nearest human and walk towards them in a straight line. This makes the game almost a shooting galery more than a shooter, luckily they made it so enemies can come from pretty much every dark corner of the game making it so camping is near to impossible and you have to constantly move around although it enended with me back paddling almost the whole time.

Audio:
To add to the immersion of Killing Floor 2 and of course many horror-like games audio is a pretty big deal. Killing floor sports not only a creepy atmosphere but also a terrifying soundtrack mainly consisting of metal tracks to keep the adrenaline pumping while you fight your way through waves of enemies...too bad metal is not really my thing and every track sounds the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-same, I listened to 3-4 songs and they could have replayed the first and I wouldn't even notice.

The sounds the guns make are amazing as well, sounding like toy guns or BB guns firing in a tin can, for looking not too bad the AR-15 i held in the beginning sounded so squeeky and hollow

The enemies themselves sound good with a wide range of sounds to not sound like they repeat their sound effects so that's nice i guess.

Player, other players and trader...
Never have I ever wanted to scratch my ears off so much as when I heard someone in this game speak. anything they say, anything you say, anything the traders says is so cringeworthy and (when trying to be funny) not funny that you want to mute almost the whole game.

In the end Killing Floor 2 did itself in for me almost instantly, not providing me a positive gameplay experience and with the amount of hype it got. I watched the first gameplay videos and watched a few streams of it and it somehow manages to completely feel differently than it looks and i can't understand how someone manages to do that.

Fun with friends but the amount of bugs and glitches makes this a horrible mess of a game that only shines in a few moments.

The premise is easy, you are dropped in a small map and you are either a "survivor" or a "monster" with the choice between three different monsters each with their own powers and personalities.

However before this can be done you have to register??? for python some reason even though this game plays through steam. Sometimes this results in a crash and makes your game freeze and you have to use taskmanager to close it. restart... Now you probably want to fiddle with the graphical options as the game look and runs terrible. turning down the visual options helps getting the FPS from 8 to 25 easily...this game looks like it was made in unity like all the easy-to-make-horror-games of the last few years. However changing the graphical options makes the game hate you and freezes again, open task manager and close the game again.

Now we get to join a room and this is where the fun begins. Because it's ALWAYS a gamble if you wil connect correctly. Sometimes the game joins a room but places you in a kind of limbo that shows no other players and doesn't allow you to start a game in any way, shape or form. the other kind is where it freezes upon start, open task manager bla bla bla...

This game has a good concept and is really fun when it works however before you even get it to work you're already half an hour further and that is just not acceptable nowaday. If you want a good time with friends buy it on sale as a four-pack to have some laughs if you have the patience to get it all working.

How to survive,

starting this game makes you think as if you actually are sepose to survive on a zombie infested island. however soon you wil learn that there is not one but four islands each providing you with resources that allows you to create different items that help you either fend off the zombies or provide you staying away from dehydration, starvation and sleep. In the end all you wil need is a (cross)bow, an (improvised) sniper rifle and an improvised machine gun. The inventory is a bit too small, the amount if items that you will need to complete objectives or create and items is not on par with the inventory space.
The "survival" aspect is most of the time not even noticable, most zombies die with a single shot, food can be found almost everywhere, water can be found in specific places that can be found on each island, beds can be found is every safehouse. the only real survival is when either a big horde of zombies is coming right for you or * SPOILER* when at the end a seemingly endless horde of zombies charges for you.
The end came (for me at least) rather abrupt and rushed. It also has a ridiculous plot twist that is just retarded.
Boiling it down to it's core it's nothing more than an action/adventure game with RPG elements with enemies that go away it not much more that a single click of the mouse.
The game does not deliver what i promises, i rarely felt like i had to struggle for survival and i only died when the horde of zombies became either too large or when i tried to rush past a group of zombies. dying also has no consequences, not even a penalty or anything. I must say i only played normal mode and not iron man mode and i can already guess that iron man only gives you one life, thus bringing more to the table in the sense of survival.

I don't recommend this game, i like zombie games but this one did not satisfy me, it didn't bring the full package i was expecting and it was shorter that i would have liked. a reminder that zombies are not a selling point

WORMS....again,

the worms are back with a whole new arsenal of OLD weapons and a few new ones.

It seems like sports games, worms has to come back too once every one or two years for no reason. Nobody asked for a sequel and maybe for a reason. Team 17's constant struggle to ♥♥♥♥ out a new worms game is uncanny. For me personally, worms 2 was and still is the best worms game. 2D, oldschool turn-based combat and with graphics so low EVERY computer could run it.
Now Team17 has to bring us a new gimmic and thus comes the beautiful physics system and the edition of water based combat. why we do not know but playing the game i must say that i feel insulted for the amount of tutorial missions i have play before i get to the first real mission. and even then the game holds my hand as if i'm a toddler. i've played worms before game, make me at least work for my victory.
But apart from this flaw the game is solid, plays nice and feels just like any other worms game. the water physics don't feel realistic but unique, giving you more ways to deal with the pink bastards.
The game also has a class system, allowing you to ajust your team to make certain of your units control differently and provides you with another layer of costumization.

Even though i this review maybe ♥♥♥♥♥ too much at Team17 for ANOTHER worms game, the game is still true to the franchise so i do recommend this game. If however you own another worms title from only a few years ago i would stick with that as it is mostly the same with a few more weapons and instead of a 2D game you have a 2.5D game.

Reus is a fun "little" game.

Little an understatement. the amout of depth this game has may not seen my all and certainly at first glance.
The premise of the game is you have the control over four giants. Sea, Nature, Rock and swamp (for some reason). Each giant has his own unique abilities. combining these abilities is essential as combining certain elements provides you with better prosperity that humanity uses to complete building projects. completing these projects brings ambasadors. these ambasadors provide new skills for your giants or upgrades it's current depending on which ambasador you wish to give to which giant.

May people overlook the potential of this game and the tutorial barely even gives you slightly less information than you need to know to really understand what you're doing the first "real" game you play.
At the start of the game itself you're forced to play the tutorial itself, these are about basic navigation, how to complete building projects and what to do when a town gets too greedy.
after the tutorial you unlock the half hour game. when you've completed enouth in-game (and steam) achievements you unlock one hour games and after some more achievements the two hour games. Many achievements are achieved rather easily, although some of the harder ones really test your skills as the controller of the giants. thus making this game one of those easy to learn hard to master games.

all in all i would say that this game is worth the money and certainly the time. the game has beautiful and clean graphics, an easy interface that is quite inviting and gameplay that keeps challenging you.

Let me start off by saying that i didn't buy this game when the game came out nor did i really buy it, i bought the gothic bundle which contained gothic 1+2 night of the raven+3+ 3 expansion + 4 + 4 DLC.

I happen to be a big fan of the gothic series and played 1+2+2 notr till the end. when 3 came out i tried it but i felt like the game i once loved had changed beyond recognition. when i heard they were making a 4th i was at first excited because i thought that this was a chance for the series to rewrite it's wrongs. but instead of going back to the old concept of a good rpg with unique elements and a good setting/storyline it has become maybe the most generic RPG game ever with horrible voice-"acting", unlikeable characters, ugly graphics and a HUD and UI to puke at.

The voice acting sounds completely unconvincing and makes you feel like all the characters are cardboard cutouts. The female interrest of the (start)game is both annoying and a useless plot device.

All the characters look "decent" as long as you don't look at them. once you get into a conversation with them their weird blob faces come to light and show how horrible the faces look, combined with the voice-acting it doesn't make any of the conversations you have with the NPC's a good experience and sucks you right out of the game, hence i skipped literally ALL the dialogue in the game.

The before skillpoint system from gothic 1+2+3 seemed to be not "of this time anymore" since they threw that idea out of the window for a new fresh... aged system that even an MMORPG would laugh at. the skill window is ugly, unfinished and rightdown insulting to the series. there are no special talents for hunting, no different fight styles like two-handed, sword/shield or dual wielding. just 2 bars, one for flurries and one for heavy attacks.

The active HUD also is VERY aged and doesn't stand up. it's big, gets in the way and is ugly and takes away immersion and focus.

I obviously didn't play much of this game and i intend to keep it that way. 2-3 hours of this game have shown me enouth to know to stay away from this game. some may say that this game has a better story the longer you play it but i really doubt that.

so it gets down to this: if you can look aside ALL the flaws of the game, you basicly have a stripped down singleplayer MMORPG with less depth and a combat system so dumbed down that they actually reached a new low. then this game is absolutely for you. If however you're looking for an intriguing RPG that is immersive and stands out from the rest, look further because this is not that kind of game.

I simply HAVE to write a review about this game because it baffles me that they actually asked 10 euro's + for it. First of all the game is VERY short, i finished it in just under 2 hours (that includes screwing up and finding the next way to go. the game is rather linear with absolutely NO exploration. it's not scary, it tries to set the mood but the graphics just won't work with the sounds. the first 15 minutes i thought something was going to pop out at me but that was not the case at all. There are relics to be found in each chapter. I have searched many corners and only found one, kind of a let down.
The only real redeeming factor of this game is the voice actor that reads these weird notes that sometimes talk about the most obvious things ever or it speaks of things that are too "deep" for the game to handle.
In the end i didn't have a good experience, i know there wil be more chapters and i wil play them just for the sake of finishing the game. But i hope they wil be longer if not more interesting because halfway through i just wanted the game to end.

If you really REALLY want to play/try this game buy it on sale if you want to have your money spent equal to the amount of entertainment you get, 10 euro's is really too much to ask for a game like this
