A fantastic little feel-good game with phenomenal writing. There isn't much gameplay to be had here, but if the sound of a bite-sized interactive novel with a great art style and a beautiful soundtrack is appealing to you, I'd highly recommend.

It may also make you happy cry. I certainly did.

A great, but very flawed game. The game nails its atmosphere in the opening act, but the transition to the metacommentary and larger narrative fell flat to me. The card mechanics are mostly quite strong, but some of the later mechanics are needlessly complex for this type of game, such as the Gem and Conduit mechanics.

Its not a particularly lengthy game either, as I managed to complete it in just under nine hours. However, it is worth nothing that the game is getting a new mode that expands on the roguelike first act, which should expand the replay value.

I'd highly recommend it to fans of card games, but I'd caution those who are interested in it purely as a card/horror hybrid as that section is not very long.
