Mielenkiintoinen, tunnelmallinen ja mukaansa tempaava. Valitettavasti pelistä on tehty auttavasti liian pitkä. Juoni ei jaksa kantaa loppuun saakka. Eikä loppua kohden mentäessä pääse eroon ajatuksesta, että tämä toistaa itseään ihan liikaa. Tiiviimpänä pakettina Alan Wake olisi ollut yksi parhaista.
