Its like banished meets a Civ-like game and is one of the most unique takes on the colony sim genre out there. This game is a bit rough around the edges but is consistently being updated and has the potential to be something top tier with some more polish.

The multiplayer support works extremely well and allows for everyone controlling a single faction or their own factions.

Make no mistake though, this game is not easy and you will have to learn the hard way how to manage the many resources that you must obtain to survive and grow the settlement.

Warthunder's economy has turned a corner and has addressed most of my major complaints with progression and added many pro consumer features which make the progression far more viable for newer players and for top tier players alike.

You still need Premium/Vehicles to advance at a good pace but the foldering of vehicles/discounts for those vehicles drastically reduces the research needed to get into the higher tiers which should help reduce tech tier shock for new and casual players.

Now if Gaijen can add some more interesting scenarios/gamemodes this could be one for the ages.

This has to be one of my favorite games ever without a doubt. This game has many flaws but it also does things that no other game has done before it or since. It is absolutly one of the best sandbox world game that I have ever come across and allows you to play an infinate amount of ways from noble lord proudly flying your kings banners, to a villian who just ransacks and plunders the countrside aimlessly, all the way to the king of you own faction...or not... really just do whatever you want. With that said I am only talking about the vanilla game itself. This game is very mod friendly and has a very strong list of 3rd party mods that make the game something that is even more awsome and endless. Personally my favorite is the "A Clash Of Kings" Game of Thrones mod that takes the game to entire new level of customization map scope, variety of atmospheres and other options including gameplay tweaks and visual upgrades. For a fan of the books and show this is the only game that I am aware of that you can travel the world of Westeros and Essos and actually explore it in a way that is really feels like you are a real figure shaping the destiny of the land to your whim.

10/10 400 hours in and it is more fun than when I started.
