yer ay.. been using the NBN for while now.. i gotta say iam pretty impressed. (esspecially compard to our old adsl1 we rocked for 15yrs).

so far.. have had 2 dc (but that was in battlefield 4, said lost connection. but was still connected so not sure if was a glitch or server went down).... have noticed its been on about 30ms across all games so far for what i've been playing online. Which is a massive difference from 85-287 as a normal default then going up if someone body online too.

Never went with Telasta.. went with TPG instead. (coz bundle with ph lines).

on the 100,000 mb/s plan on unlimited plan... its still 35 bucks cheaper then what was paying before on adsl1 getting 5mb/s (which turned into 670kb/s).

.... insane aye. O.o

P.S - got a chance to sus StarWars battlefront II. gotta say... visuals in that game are on a totally different level, almost next gen type thing. gameplay is alot better then the first i've noticed. (few things been twicked and that, like air combat and hero's and stuff).

i think i wont be playing the first one ever again ay. (felt like a flop). swbf2 needs a dlc or 2 (the potinential on some of the levels are too good not to have extra content in it). but... feel this is how the original should of been off the bat aye.
(i would say.. play for yourself or come over here and sus it, then make a choice on if you wanna get it)... don't listen to the complaints. Dave said playing here for few hrs on the controller was alot of things ppl complained about that just didn't seem to be happening. etc.

We'll definatly have to catch up these days. new system i ended up getting seems pretty good.
*i kept old ssd drive and put it in as a D:/ in this one. *other one liturally ♥♥♥♥ itself and totally went kaput in the end. (mobo, cpu, powersupply and ram sticks all died), so... in short, i did a wipe and thought would get a new system, (was 2 parts i had to downgrade), but it took like 3 months to get the ♥♥♥♥ at the time, it took ages. *i wanted the 6850k over the 6800k, (coz was 3.6 as normal over 3.4, i know not much, but it would it just been sweet) xD

only good thing that came about was wait was soo long,, i swapped the vid card for a better one 5 days before assembly xD, was definatly worth the swap. price wasn't :(

i'm on the 100mbs plan (is cheaper then what we were paying iwth the old crazy shocking internet).

i've noticed on steam dl's and that i get about 3.5 to 4mb a sec (actual dl speeds).

still. i can least play it seems and not get dc'ed or connection loss n ♥♥♥♥.
the nbn does seem stable at least, which is good. Still. 3.8mb a sec is better then 615kb/s, which was getting before if noone was using the line or anything. lols.

hey midian, yeh all whent well with the setup and i am on the telstra premium 100/40mbps and works a charm, just lately ive notice some times around 7-11pm(peak) ive been getting down to about 30/30mbps. other than that a great improvement on adsl. i would say my adsl was a bit more stable though. get the ocasional drop out on steam but thats normaly when im uploading @ 3-4Mb/s on utorrent

i sused it out. in mwo. you can play with 1-4 ppl. but to have a 12 man. you need 12. (so aye. can just play with you and me (up to 4) but then it has to be either 8 specific or 12 specific.

I was gonna jump on Planetside 2 in about 15-20min's (soon as i do a ♥♥♥♥ and make a cup-of-tea).

How did the game iwth Natez go ?

i think MechWarrior Online is same concept as Planetside 2 (in thats its Free-To-Play style).

iam gonna check it out (havent reinstaleld mwll) and i got into that.

seeing this got its own dedicated engine for it. aye :) might be alright.

New Nvidia drivers found too (05/01/2013) version v310.90 i think.

Last night too.. i fully got the Nvidia settings in parell with Planetside 2 too. (had to add it to the nvidia list) but aye.. tiny bit confusing at first when looking at it.. but i sus'ed it out, and got it 100% right.

out of the 4 ram sticks.. i think 1 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in away.. (if i use the other 2 sticks (still 8bg in machine) instead of the 2 sticks i using now... the comp has memory problems ? blue screens and lockups.. but.. if you swap the 2 ram sticks around. (8gig in machine still & 2 ram sticks spare) nooo drams. its a funny concidence aye. (why it works with these 2 ram sticks in.. and not the other 2) and they are compatible.. coz it came as a 16gig pack (so same ram iam using) not 2 different brands type thing. (there identical in every way)

On Indar... Game running dam fine aye, under all conditions. even in-bulit up indoor and outdoor bases. seems to be very very smooth all round.

I mucked around on 2-3 setting combs to see how well comp performs. (but to get smooth consistant gameplay over longish times was main goal). The settings i got it on now, playing through a few hours, was smooth in all situations. This setting works a hell of alot better then when tested on, (Graphics -High, Textures -High, and all the rest of them on Medium) which comp didnt like 100% (struggled a bit in areas)

I've been smashing planetside 2 a fair bit aye.

When you press the ctrl-alt-del real quick, and see the CPU and RAM usage. upon first look at it real quick. it says like 88% or more cpu usage. and 47% ram usage. lol.

(indar) - Red took over half the map (Right to Left type thing). purp had a tiny bit on the bottom left in the end. next morning.. purp taken over half the map or so (from north to south, type thing) it was crazy. :)

My battlefield 3 on Origin just recived an update. 3.8gig big.

its downloading now.. i wonder if it's one of the expansions... (included with Premium) or if it's a large patch.. fixing a few things.

either way.. 3.8gig for an 'Update' - its kinda half big aye, loooool.

its not 100% the same >.>

I swear the quality is downgraded a tiny bit in the ripping process.

Dad ended up getting $70.00 worth of Blur-Rays for $25 or something... (some crazy special), he got both the batmans, lool. and one other movie (3 in total). he is loving the Blu-Ray though aye.

He notices a big difference between Blur-Ray and DvD.

(he wants to get the dvd's he's got, and re-get them in blue-ray over time).
