Early Access Review
Train management is absolutely maddening - it's not at all intuitive or even conceptually fun. I realize this is an Early Access game, but I feel like EA games should at least be able to show a solid proof of concept, and this one fails in my book. For example, it's even confusing how resources are distributed to and from different building types. If the point is to manage logistics, then it needs to be more clear as to how things move around the map - and if on top of all that, I can't get a train to move down the tracks, where is the fun??

Not sure why this game has so many positive reviews - I can only assume it is from people who have been following development for some time. But, for someone new to the game the learning curve is an exercise in frustration and I would hold off on purchasing this one until a more solid concept is revealed.

Early Access Review
i purchased this game thanks to the 'lets play' series by Sampstra Games. while this is an early access review, i think that the developers have been able to demonstrate proof of concept, as well as show a development road map for the future. so far i've had a lot of fun and look forward to watching the development cycle of this game.

This game is instantly accessible and enjoyable due to it's quirky sense of humor and graphical style. Patients come in with all sorts of odd illnesses, and it's a bit of a kick watching patients bumble around the hospital in various states of decay, while all sorts of hilarious announcements are played on the PA system.

That being said, the fun and lightheartedness of the game is quickly replaced by frustration and an apparent lack of depth to the overall simulation. Patients ‘rage quit’ due to boredom, thirst, or other conditions, and it isn’t always clear how to solve those problems. There are items you can purchase that supposedly help alleviate these conditions, but these items are either not effective, or the AI isn’t smart enough to utilize them. Either way, I have found myself stuck in a constant feedback loop of trying to make patients happy, trying to understand AI behavior, and failing at both.

I think there could be a great game here, but in its current state, it feels more like a tablet game – or Sims Lite at a hospital. I am hopeful for the future of this game, but cannot recommend at this time.

I was going to give this a positive review simply because they added trams, but trams isn't enough to save this expansion. This expansion intoduces new bugs while failing to fix exisiting ones, and adds only a few game play features that don't add anything of real substance to the simulation. Even more strange is that they didn't add seasons to a expansion that is supposed to be about snow! Rather, we are given a few maps that are in a constant state of winter?? Very odd choice!

I love this game, and I love these developers, but this expansion feels very rushed, and is sadly a miss.

happy to see this game back on Steam. it's been years since i last played Aion, but it has clearly been refined over the years with new classes, quests, items, housing, etc. the free-to-play model here is one of the best you'll ever find in an MMO, too. the servers seem to be full of new players, so now is a good time to check it out.

Early Access Review
this is not a God Game. this is a game about collecting stickers and cards, digging up chests and gathering belief bubbles that hover above your followers homes. there is no meaningful interaction with your population whatsoever. true, it still in Early Access, but i feel a fundamental design overhaul is the only thing that could save this game. i remain hopeful, but highly skeptical.
