There are few games that match the level of engagement with the community that HELLDIVERS 2 achieves. The response from the developers and their willingness to engage with the publisher (Sony Entertainment) caused a major change that would preclude many players from being able to play to be recently prevented. I think it is prudent to reward developers that lovingly build their community alongside their game, and the fact that the community has enough sway to prevent profit motives of major corporations from causing damage to the game and its player-base speaks to the quality of both the developers and the community that they build.

If you're still on the fence, and you have any interest in first- or third-person shooters, I wholeheartedly recommend this game. If not because the players have actively demonstrated the capability to defend their way of life, then because our community will always welcome another soldier to help carve footholds in the long climb to liberty.

Game eats up time like Slay the Spire. Highly replayable, very clever in requiring strategy to manage the map and progression. Just unlocked Aurora, very interested to check out the character since each one has a very interesting style and mechanic!
