Living near Antwerp, Belgium, male. Passionate about gaming on the pc, which is so much more than a hobby to me. Very interested in pc hardware, built my own gaming pc twice now. Started gaming in the 80's on the good old Commodore 64, switched to pc in the 90's on a Pentium 100.

I have started digging into this great community in 2014 and have since met some wonderful people, and am also learning so much about games and everything connected to them. I try to write reviews as I progress through my library, sharing my gaming experiences is part of the fun for me! Please do provide any kind of feed-back you want, it's always fine to know what other people think of my efforts. :eagleeye:

When in-game, I don't like to chat.
I'm male so doing two things at the same time is obviously difficult :HappyMoonman:
If you want to chat, look at my status, I try to keep it updated.

Steam as a social platform
I am always into meeting new and interesting people, so do not hesitate and add me if you like to.
Your profile has to be public, not private. I will only accept invites from people with a decently cared for profile, however. Gamers playing only one type of game don't add to my experience or knowledge of this great cultural phenomenon that gaming has become.

Several years ago, I started a group, Gaming&Arts , which focuses on the relationship between games and other art-forms, and on the interesting question if games can be considered as art. Feel free to ask for an inivitation if you'd like to participate, and if you have genuine interest in the topic. The group has been silent for a couple of years, but I intend to revive it sometime.

As far as I'm concerned, games are very much part of culture these years - some are real works of art (in several ways even, reminding me of opera's for example, where visuals, words and music meet in a similar fashion). And I happen to love opera's as well :fhappy:

- Destinctive visual style
- Quite some optimization issues reported
- Weapons could use some more “oomph” sound-wise

To buy, to play or to skip?

What do you get out of it?
I played this game twice, with several months in between and finished it early 2022. The two playthroughs together took me close to 44 hrs, with the second one taking up almost 30 hrs due to aiming for 100% achievements. For many gamers one playthrough will suffice, but 10-15 hrs is still excellent value for the money. Aiming for the achievements is actually real fun since it involved getting all the available perks which demands adapting one's playstyle quite often.
How did it age?
The game was originally released in 2014 so by the time of writing this review it is almost 8 years old. It does show its age in some respects, like in the sometimes blurry textures or in the not so perfect lipsyncing in cutscenes, but in the end it doesn’t feel like an old game at all. Don’t expect state-of-the-art graphics, that’s all.
Is it worth buying?
Yes, definitely now that it’s often on sale for 10 euro/dollar or less (2022). And when you already have it in your library but didn’t play it yet: just install and hit the play button whenever you feel the urge to kill lots of nazi's.

Verdict: Very good, great fun to play
