Heaven's Vault is an immensely creative and sophisticated game about language, history, archeology, society, religion, dialectics, memory, identity, as well as robots and geckos. The visuals and soundtrack are gorgeous, and the gameplay is both fun and addictive, while also calming and therapeutic. An absolute gem.

Game entirely revolves around gimmick that grows stale after a couple of hours. Every level look and feels almost exactly the same, and the skill and upgrade systems are wonky and not satisfying. The boss fights are pretty cool, but that's about it.
