Game's really fun and the automation takes a lot of micro management pressure off of you. It feels like a better stellaris or what stellaris should be.
2 big downsides are, that the game crashes way too often. That is more like an early access alpha then a 1.0 release. Not worth 50$ for that.
Other downside is performance. It feels like a lot more should be calculated offline. The current simulation takes a lot of resources and as thus runs pretty slow at some point.

Once the crashes are fixed, game is worth the money. Otherwise, I would wait.
