What can I say? This game is an absolute masterpiece. The Crowbar Collective have put an enormous amount of effort into this and it really shows. If you think the new visuals of the Black Mesa part are amazing, just wait until you reach Xen. What a remake...it is very different from the rocky barren hell it used to be and oh my hat it looks amazing. 10/10 This is what a remaster should be. AAA Devs TAKE NOTES.

Do NOT I repeat, NOT buy this game until you see in the news feed that the devs have fixed the progress rest bug. Its absolutly unexcusable how they let that slip and focus on 'adding more content'. DayZ made VERY similar mistakes and that is now just a cash cow game that the devs just flat out ignore the real issues. This game seems to be no different.

Overall, its a good game and I can recomend it. Only gripe with it as it stands now is the multiplayer aspect when you host local. The dev team needs to sit down and sort out the packet transfer problem when you host local multiplayer games over the internet for friends. The ping with more than 2 people skyrockets and makes it unplayable for all barring the host.
