First and foremost, this game is still in development.
If you love dinosaurs, this game is going to be THE dinosaur game. Currently, there are svereal bugs and gameplay issues but as long as you understand that this game is a project and not a final product it is very enjoyable. I am extremely exited to see this game at it's completion. Be warned, people WILL kill you for no reason so expect to have trust issues if you dont already. Counter to that, I have made dozens of friends from this game alone... having a pack or a herd is a huge survival advantage. Starting out will be frustrating and time consuming as you keep dying from other players, lack of food or water and falling to your death. You might finally make it to the next dinosaur and be one step closer to being your dream dinosaur just to die and start all over again just as easily as you could finally reach that top tier monster that you have been trying SO hard to reach just to have your glory cut short as a pack of skilled predators tear you apart before you can even fully enjoy your reign... it happens. This game requires patience, cunning and a little bit of ruthlessness to be successful. The wilderness, textures, dinosaur models, dinosaur animations and dinosaur sounds are awesome in my opinion. I just love the way they move, how they sound and how they look... To me, it has a real Jurassic Park feel to the realness that makes ARK seem cartoony.

For dislikes, there aren't any I can make that are worth mentioning. For example, certain bugs on the dinos and map, server crashes/resets, other players and dinosaur statisticts. Bugs are going to be a thing, it's a work in progress so you should expect them and accept that they will be corrected and others will pop up throughout development. People are jerks in general and the fact that you rage from them murdering you over and over again doesn't mean the game's fault... so watch out and only trust your Steam friends. I think the dinosaur statistics will always be a thing that bothers me but i know they will be constantly changing until a proper balance is met to make the game balanced and fun so have a little confidence in the devs to recognize major flaws before you get too upset (Hey Devs, a Shant shouldn't be able to chase down and kill an Adult Rex like a Maia does to a juevenile rex).

I can still say, even with all the things that will drive you nuts, I have FUN playing this game! Every fight you get into is a fight for survival, whether for food, self defense or you just didn't like the way that other dinosaur looked at you! A good fight will get your heart pumping and leave you wanting someone else to challenge you... after you heal of course.
