Had to come back to edit this after about a thousand hours in game. Don't get me wrong i still like it... so why, then, did i change my recomendation?

Well, the thing is that the top tier meta is basically a staring contest and the developers have been promising character reworks and the all mighty holy grail that is the defensive meta fix since season 2. They finally pinpointed it "In season 4" but season 4 has launched and it still hasn't gone live, no ETA, no useful information.. Granted it's only been a few weeks in, but they also had a set of changed on a public test in season 2 that WORKED so.... Given all that i can't recomend this game anymore, i can hardly bring myself to play it anymore. When they fix the defensive meta and do the character reworks and IF those things work to improve the game without making it a braindead garbage fire then i will happily return and edit my review to once again recomend this game, but right now i just can't.

Oh, on a side note, if you're a fan of being nausiatingly OP you should get into this game. As of the date of this review edit (november 21st) the new dlc character Shaman is stupidly broken, takes no skill to be good and they apparently aren't nerfing it until sometime in december. I add this in with the hopes that it will flood the game with the most toxic, salty, braindead players you could imagine who want nothing more than to win easily and BM, in order to force ubi to understand the negative impact of relesing a new OP hero every season just to sell copies, and hopefully get them to stop.

IT IS LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE
First of all the combat is clunky as hell, i figured i could get over that, i thought to myself "Ah, you'll learn it!" but then i tried to rebind some keys (because for some reason draw weapon is mid mouse) and guess what? I also can't bind keys. Guess what happened when i tried to make dodge any key other than B? "Dodge has been bound to B" now, when i tried binding control to anything else (one of the keys i tried to bind to dodge) it thinks the ctl key is B, and won't let me bind anything else to ctl, the only way i found to fix this is by starting over again because that's right, reseting the controls doesn't help.
