I would reccomend this as it is cheaper than it will be, however an extra few bucks wont kill you. I personally love this as it practically adds a whole new game with new features you can't really find in mods. A lot of new features for example, stamina, decapitation, and story mode which actually is a fine thing to have, since it helps you get on your feet, learn how to play, with the new features, boats, etc. Another thing I like is the ruins you can find and the stories involved in them, like ancient Roman structures or Odins Cave which I have yet to check out. However the admit that the battles are extremely laggy, even with the most recent patch (not beta), that fixed the launch day crashing. This might have something to do with the high quality of the armors, and the minimum 150 person battles. If they fix the battle optimization, it would be damned near perfect but even now its amazing.

It is like, other people have said, a mix of the Arkham games (Asylum, City, etc) and Assassins Creed, but in the best ways imaginable. The combat is extremely fluid, and gives a good sense of how hard, exactly, you are butchering the poor uruks who killed your family. Even when the combat gets extremely easy, as in, you learn exactly (like I didn't) how it works, and once u get certain abilities, even then, it only makes it more fun. It makes the kills you do, the abilities you do, and how they react all the better. On top of this, the nemesis system is nice, and there is little tidbits of lore, and various things to find, which is always nice. However, my main beef with the game, is that there (as far as I know?) is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and even though you start out with a ruined arm cloth, as powerful as you are, with inhuman abilites, you cannot stitch it back up? But, thats about my only problem really, barely any of my play time has actually been doing missions, its mostly been doing the hidden missions, to upgrade your weapons (which is neat) and finding the lore, until I realize how much I WANT to learn more of the lore.
