By a margin. With 20K daily players in BF 2042 you don't have to worry about finding matches. And as for the direct comparison... it's a different setting (personally, I'm not a fan) and thus different fight dynamics, with less auto weapons.

And unlike BF 2042, BF 1 was never called "too CoDish" by ppl.

Battlefield 2042 is the best CoD.

Not totally free of cheaters, but you won't get hacked and it's nowhere near CoD levels.
The game can be highly sweaty, but also highly satisfying, just like CoD.

It had a sale not that long ago and I recommend picking up on sale price.
