The devs gave up and refuse to communicate with the playerbase in even the slightest way. Steam needs to remove this listing considering the servers have been offline for almost a month as of this review.

This game is ran by a crew of people who think every meme and sexual joke is a way of life. If you don't pay money, you won't be respected and protected in the community. Everyone who pays money gets to control how the game is made in their favor and when things can be nerfed so new players cannot catch up. They'll go as far as buffing newbie bosses so the newbies cannot farm them and they're forced to pay gold to the veterans who gatekeep the bosses and equipment. The devs are confused on how to balance a game and they're extremely biased to anyone who pays them money.

If you're looking for humor about pickles, ice pops and everything a 12 year old would enjoy, this game is for you but keep in mind that most of the players are grown men. Save yourself the trouble and go play Runescape if you're looking for this kind of game. At least that game will have content, a storyline and something to do besides getting told you can't farm what you've been farming because the paid players said it's not fair anymore. They also enjoy nerfing crafting exp after the paid players bot their way to the top so once again, no one can catch up.

Besides all of that, there's no balance or sense of direction with the game. It's a total mess where normal leveling mobs will drop the best mage staff in the game and at the same time an end-game boss also drops that staff. Go farm Frozen Bats and ignore end-game if you're a mage which all the paid/paetron players play as because it's meta. If you play anything besides a mage you'll be gimped and told by the paid players to git gud or it's a skill issue. Hands down, this is the worst community I've been part of and I regret every second of it. These people backed me into a corner nonstop and acted like angels when anyone responded. They will 100% delete any vulgar messages they say towards you and bait you into being the villian.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

At the moment, Wildcard has proven to be untrusthworthy. If I cannot trust the people who make the game, why should I continue to play a product that will only be involved in more shady tactics.

There's no need for me to write out a long detailed review that everyone knows the storyline to and probably have played it countless times on previous systems. What I will say is that this port is exactly the same as the previous games besides some graphic updates and a new interface. Now if that's enough to hate on a game/port, I feel sorry for the nitpicky miserable people who wrote long detailed reviews expressing their deep hatred for minor changes. If you are really a fan of Final Fantasy 6, you'll be happy knowing that you're supporting them and playing it once again. All the people talk of using their emulator to play and acting like it's the best method of playing. What they fail to realize that if you don't support the company, where are they going to get the money to make the game that you want and have this grand plan for like you're some sort of game developer. Honestly I would have paid 30-60 dollars for this game.

For one of the many new MOBAs, this one did it right with the 3 way free for all. No longer do you have to worry about being outclassed by the other team, you can just team up with the other losing team and make a huge comeback, it happens all the time. There's even been a couple matches where combat barely even happened, everyone was more focused on zombies and getting supplies to even worry about fighting each other. It's for sure a good chance of pace after playing games like LoL for years. Just don't expect this game to play like LoL or Dota, they're totally different from Epidemic in all aspects.
