This is just a fantastic game all round: music, art style, gameplay, humour.
What really makes it unique, in one word?
Character.
The game has a character of its own; so consistently and lovingly executed by its creators that coming back to another free seasonal update after some months will feel like lunch with an old friend.

First of all, this game is both fantastic and inspiring. I usually play offline so have more like 30 hours played than whatever is shown, and the phenomenal scope of this game combined with the very satisfying (and constantly refined, due to regular updates) pacing of how often the player expands this scope keeps impressing me.
You can advance/relax exactly as you want without feeling punished by the game in either direction; it seems to work just as well as an AFK aesthetic, 'gradually accrue your achievements' game as it does a hardcore, maximising efficiency Factorio-like automation-fest.
This is also a game that, at the time of writing, is getting a lot of love from the devs and really seems to be fuelled by an incredible passion and talent: even reading the update notes and plans for the future is exciting.
Great work, please keep it up!!!

Early Access Review
As someone who hasn't even read Kim,
I found the dialogue and story of this game enthralling and elegant, blending perfectly with the gorgeous aesthetic of the art. I also found it novel(!) in regards to the design of the game: there are a multitude of completely original mechanics that balance challenge with replayability.
If you have any interest in Kim, Kipling or colonial India, or if you just want to be immersed in a fascinating and colourful world, definitely check it out!
