HLL is a great game! I've put in over 750 hours and still enjoying it. If any of your played it early on and bailed on it due to optimisation issues, etc then I would recommend a re-visit. There's been tons of work done on it and yet more in the pipeline.

it takes the strategic elements from games like Squad, utilising role based, co-ordinated squad/team play with a relatively low TTK but with more of a lean towards a faster paced action FPS style. It can be a bit running simulator at times (with bad squad/spawn management) but generally is much faster paced and easier to get into the action. Like squad, it's one of those games where a good and communicative squad makes the game and not sure it's really one for those who prefer the lone wolf approach.

All in all a great game although if I have one recommendation it would be to link yourselves up with one of the many communities around. This often ensures you get VIP which can be really helpful to save on queuing on the more popular servers, but also means you're likely to find helpful and communicative squad games more easily and for me, this is key to enjoying the game.

Great game, really easy to get into (so far) unlike some of these card based games that I enjoy but find a bit mind blowing - quick to get games too. Good fun!
