The environment overall seems grimey and somewhat disturbing, though the plot is well worth any discomfort. Though the characters often seem crude, they are developed greatly throughout the game and Caulfield's time travel ability really adds depth to the player's interactions and understanding of the environment. I really enjoyed discovering aspects about characters and coming to care about them later in the game, and all of my choices did feel impactful near the end, even though they were overshadowed by a daunting ultimatum (no spoilers). The game does have considerable replayability, though I personally won't go back because I feel that my decisions were my own (though they often fit the majority choices) and I can't stomach seeing other outcomes because I so firmly resolved myself to others. If you allow yourself to fall into this game's rhythm, it can take you through an emotional ride and a bit of a mind♥♥♥♥.
