Early Access Review
Game is what you get when Mordhau and For Honor had a baby and hated team fighting. Kinda.

Pros
-Simple combat. Easy to figure out.
-Shallow learning curve. Left click to attack, dodge button, etc.
-Weapon model-based hit reg. You do a lot of screen spinning to land headshots.
-Objectives are interesting enough to keep people focused on them instead of playing TDM.
-Casual friendly game. Seems like it was made for those "drinking with the boys" kind of nights.

Cons
-Immortal "Hero" system feels really bad. Everyone spawns with what's basically a killstreak to break up groups of players. Let me be clear: it's not a reward for doing well. Everyone just gets one for free every game; it's a panic button.
-Artillery is obnoxious. Several game modes have a static artillery objective that can nearly one shot entire squads of players. Makes capping the artillery more mandatory than the primary objective.
-1v1 Dueling is borderline impossible (disclaimer: I've only played the default playlist).
-Games devolve into death balls of players spamming left click at one another. No "Revenge" system like in For Honor.
-Only 6 classes. Distinct lack of an archer or ranger class -- melee only.
-Each class has a singular free cosmetic. Default skins are made to be intentionally awful so you buy the premiums.
-Battle pass has hard limits on how much you can grind.

tl;dr: Game is alright but has too many silly mechanics that make it frustrating to play. Immortal system feels stapled on and feels out of place. Artillery is annoying because it's actually strong. Monetization is typical Nexon, maybe slightly worse.
