I think with those new specs you should be able to hit a stable 60. The 980ti is a much better card than what's recommend and your new cpu should definitely pull its weight now.

If you struggled with ds3, you're definitely going to struggle more with elden ring performance wise.

Everything I've seen poiints to it being a more demanding game all around. Higher quality meshes. Larger view distance. Open world. It's gonna tank performance compared to ds3.

Seems legit.

[quote] I am running on a 1660 TI and I am forced to play in 1080. My CPU is a 3900x Ryzen 12 Core. Game is hovering over between 50-60 but goes a bit lower due to me using a video recording software. In small spaces or boss fight the framerate is usually okay. Biggest annoyance has been stuttering. Pop in is also prevalent. My settings are auto set to high.

Hopefully they iron out the kinks to get it to a stable 60 prior to release. Not sure how much of an impact recording from the same pc he's playing on would have, but that could cause some stuttering. Especially if he's recording to the same disk the game is loading from. Someone should ask if the stutters occur when entering new areas.
