Heaps of characters, quick match-making, fun visual design, fun to play, free. Easy recommend.

Beautiful - Puzzles are just right - Never stuck wondering what to do next - Cute, endearing characters - Absolutely gorgeous soundtrack. Overwhelming recommend if you're at all into adventure games or puzzle games.

Lovely music, gorgeous visual presentation, theme is top notch. Reminded me of the Little Prince.
Feels like a proof of concept but really well executed and actually enjoyable to play. Short little puzzles to solve, very quick but good level of challenge - while I would have appreciated a few more puzzles, for a free game I thought this was brilliant and worth keeping an eye on whatever this studio does next.

This came out of nowhere and made my day. Feels close in spirit to some of the classic adventure games without doing the pixel-art nostalgia thing. Damn unique, relentlessly silly and made me laugh a bunch. Right click does a backflip, not sure why.
Buy.

Playing it with my 8 year old - she loves it! Charming game, environment and animals. Loved the music, just wish there was a bit more of it - though I understand that it is minimised so you can hear the bird calls. We love exploring the island and searching for the animals together and trying to take their picture - some of the faster animals are too tricky for kids to get, so be prepared to help a bit.

Super safe for kids - The only potentially scary thing is that some animals get sick and look distressed, but you almost immediately get the chance to help and heal them. It is also stated that a predator stole a chicken from a hen-house, but you don't see anything. There is a fire where there is a fear of danger. Nothing objectionable at all otherwise and very safe, just something to be aware of if your kids are very young or sensitive.

Loved it!

Great remaster of a classic adventure game! Played this remaster with my daughter to introduce her to classic adventure games and she loved it.

The option to flick back and forth to old and new was really appreciated, as well as all the little bonus features.
I admire the respect they put into the visual update - everything was redrawn but they kept all of the original artwork, colours and design without changing anything, so it just looks like a beautiful crisp upscale rather than some ugly 'modernised' redesign. Made me notice details that were always in the original scenes, just difficult to make out in the original pixel graphics.

The sound restoration and re-recorded score was wonderful (the uncompressed dialogue is so crisp now)!

Though I would have liked an option to retain the classic verb interface, I can see why the change was needed, and the expanded wide-screen graphics more than make up for the occasional fiddly right-click options.

Weird obtuse puzzles are all still there... We even got stuck a couple of times, which was a pleasant surprise for a game I've played half a dozen times. I appreciate the restraint in not adding a hint system.

Strong recommend.

Here's my daughter's review:
It was good, I liked all the artwork, but the last level was really frustrating. Timed puzzles are frustrating and sometimes we had the right solution but kept clicking the wrong bit.
The last bit could be a bit scary, but not really.
But overall I really liked it.
That's it.

I really appreciate the variety of 'levels' and interactivity packed into such a small game. The progression is spot on, and finding multiple solutions and avenues for hijinx is endlessly fun.

My kids love watching me harrass the villagers and throw their belongings into the lake while honking and flapping my wings like a lunatic.

Joyful. Buy it.

Cute concept, but the controls and wacky physics are just irritating rather than fun after a few minutes.

My daughter and I got a few laughs early on with the sandbox local co-op, and enjoyed exploring (especially in the air, because the cars/boats all drive horribly), but found the actual gameplay and camera too awkward and difficult to have much fun with.

Worth a few $ on sale.

Awesome journey! Just when I think I have the game figured out it keeps throwing more and more epic suprises my way. Very immersive, beautiful, terrifying and at times heart pounding, with a great story and ongoing sense of discovery. Finished but I still feel like there's so much I never found.
Strong recommend, go in fresh if you can.
