SirKwitz is a simple but fun coding game that gives you small puzzle like challenges to complete. It feels to me like an introductory education style code game to give people a taste of block/directional style coding. It's also free so I have no complaints there! I imagine you will get a good couple of hours out of it!

Spirit Mancer is definitely a game that grows on you. At first i found it a bit clunky, especially using a ps5 controller, but the xbox controller was much better. The game is primarily a hack and slash platformer but you do have cards of which you can use to spawn monsters to help you. You also have the ability to break enemies and turn them into cards, and once you have access to different elemental guns, you get the ability to switch between weapons to break enemies much more quickly than if you had to try and brute force your way through. The boss fights are fun, and the little pixel art animations are quite fun too. There are a bunch of extra modes like farming and fishing that I haven't tried yet.

It's simple and fun enough. You do auto chess style rolling to try and level up your spells and clear the waves. In between turns you will get to choose rewards to place down in your territory, and i have to be honest, with a lot of them, i have no idea what the description is trying to tell you. So there's a high chance I was using them wrong. There's synergies you can build, but I found that they were not visually impact enough for me to care. It would be cool if there was more visual effects about how your spells are working together. Sometimes the spell which did the most damage for the round, barely did any visual at all.

Still it's definitely a fun little time waster if you like tower defence games.

I got this game to review for a video, and have kept playing it well on afterwards. Very cool visuals and gun play surprisingly fun. It's essentially a run based rogue lite style FPS with looting and the ability to upgrade weapons. When you die, you lose what you have on you, which can be tricky once you get into the later levels if you don't have some backups stored in your stash. Highly Recommended.

Sons of Valhalla is very good at what it offers, the main issue I can see people having with this game is that it doesn't offer a lot in terms of mixing up gameplay or giving you a whole lot of difference in the way you play the game.

The game looks stunning with very good pixel art and I came across very few bugs at all, perhaps only one being units fleeing to the farthest right part of the map and requiring me to retrieve them. The combat is fun, and the rune system works well, without there being too much stress about which one to choose, you can equip a lot!

The weakness in the game, beyond being quite repetitive is that the boss fights don't really stand out and were not all that fun. I did like the little mini camp bosses that you got to fight in the middle of a battle though.

It took me about 8-9 hours or so to defeat the campaign on normal and I didn't run into many issues in terms of difficulty with this.

It's a pretty simple hack and slash game but the characters are quite fun and the meteors that you pick up are cool, although I think you lose them when you jump out and restart. The characters are quite fun to switch between, and adding some more options in the future would be good.

It took me a bit to get used to the combat, as swapping between felt a bit weird at first, but on my second session i had the hang of it and the combat become a lot more fun.

Storyline is okayish, without being spectacular the it definitely look good.

I have this as one of the better games I've played in the past few months. The music is up there as some of the best, and the storyline for most plays it's role to introduce you to some really interesting characters and level sequences. Gotta keep kicking that lil imposter!

The fighting mechanics are quite good, and towards the end I got the hang of the special abilities although at times it was punishing trying to use them when you're surrounded by many enemies. The boss fights are fun, and for most of the part it's a challenging game without ever being so difficult that you wanted to quit. I loved the little links in the game, such as When the Wrestler calls you a random name but it all comes back later. The upgrade system was pretty average though.

The Cub is in many ways a spectacular work of art, but a lot of that relates to design choices and storyline/background detail and animations. The game itself is quite simple, with retro style platforming in a very modern looking game devoid of any action or battle sequences. There are some stealth areas as well as moments where you're being chased, but the majority of the game is platforming and swinging. The controls are good without being great, and at times I wish I could have sprinted through areas.

The music in the game is amazing, with the radio segments being unique and a fantastic way to progress the story. It really builds an image of how bleak mars is hearing the people speaking about missing home. Voice acting is good, as is the visual aesthetic of the game and the detail in area and level design is first class. Given all this though, I did finish the game in just over 2 hours which might put some off.

I've been looking for a tennis VR game for a while and I quite enjoyed this one. Mechanics feel smooth and some clever gameplay choices that make you feel like playing tennis without having to move around the court too much. Do miss being able to do some full swings though. Playing multiplayer with players from other servers is challenging with ping but still doable. Definitely fun game and will play more.
