Every single character in my game is invisible. Both spidermen, all friendly npc's, all enemy npc's. Even the pedestrians and cars (!) are invisible. I just see floating hats and bags and car headlights. What the actual crap is this abysmal port??! I gave the devs 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ days to fix this and they have not only NOT fixed it, they have yet to even acknowledge this gamebreaking bug that i am not the only one suffering from.

We tried reinstalling game, verifying files, even new and older drivers. Nothing helps, nothing fixes it. I dont even have spiderman on my main menu, its just an empty cityscape every time. Pathetic show from Nixxes and Sony.

Decades in the making. The true king of atmosphere returns. I have been waiting for this game for over 15 years and the Ukrainian heroes delivered! Through invasion, instability and uncertainty, they pulled off what is a truly groundbreaking achievement.

It's not perfect, it's missing A-Life (of any kind, nevermind 2.0), it's easy as all hell showering you with ammo and supplies, yet makes all enemies total immersion-breaking bullet-sponges. Perhaps i am just spoiled by the incredibly hard and immersive mods of the previous games. Their first patch seems to be addressing most of these gripes, however. The only issue i have with the game that i don't think can be changed much anymore is the voice-over of the English version. I understand Russian but Ukrainian is different enough that i don't understand it, and i begged the developers to not make the same mistake Chernobylite did where every other character has a T H I C C "Bri'ish" accent. Where are all the Slavs? There really were no Slavic sounding voice actors available to keep the English dub at least remotely authentic to the world? But neither the story nor the voice over of the campaign is what i am excited about in this game.

I am most excited for the modding potential here. The community behind this world is incredible and soon we will see what they can make on this incredible base of a game. The world of The Zone has never been more realistic and explorable.

Solid 8/10 that will be updated as the base game stablizes and the modding of it flourishes.

So much potential, such incredible atmosphere and setting. Amazing world-building and enemy designs. I absolutely love the idea of this game. It sure is shame that this game has ZERO respect for your time. Absolute zero. Oh, you played for a while and made progress? How about no, all your water runs out while you are NOT EVEN PLAYING and you get raided by 10 enemies at once next time you log in. With performance after the yesterdays "patch" in the low teens, i of course lost to these 10 enemies and lost all of my gear and progress. ALL OF IT. And no, character XP being kept is not any kind of consolation.

I would refund if i could, but i already have more than 2h in this nonsense. Serves me right for trusting an early access rugpull. Stay away!

Fabulous game ALMOST ruined by corporate greed and tone-deaf executives in high chairs. The developers and the Helldivers have prevailed and i am as happy as ever to endorse this amazing game. Co-op and in-game monetization done right, fun tongue-in-cheek setting and a big punch of nostalgic good old days when the games just used to be fun, worked well and didnt force you to do ♥♥♥♥ you dont really need to do. Big props to Arrowhead! Hope Sony learned from their mistake.

The game is stunning, atmospheric and rich with characters. It plays great, feels very nice and responsive. Graphics are incredible and a great example how art style is more important than raw tech.

I am completely baffled by the mixed reception to be honest. The ONLY gripe i have is that its borderline unplayable without a controller. The PC controls are terrible.

Its got more to do and deeper more fleshed out systems than most Early Access games, hell most games period. Its got atmosphere, story, art direction, graphics, gameplay and combat nailed to a T. All that day 1 of Early Access! What is there may not be a lot for a game in development for 6 years, but what IS there is 100% done, polished and working already!

It literally plays and feels like a Chapter 1 of a fully completed game. Show me ANY early access game that can claim to match that level of quality on Day 1. Instead of selling us a broken tech demo mile wide and inch deep, they sold us a fine tuned game pond wide but ocean deep! There were no placeholders, no stopgaps, no "come back later" nonsense.

Fix the PC controls, finish the story and its a 10/10

Red Dead 2 receiving the "Labor of Love" Steam award for 2023 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke and a slap in the face of ANYONE who has ever played the game more than just finishing the single player campaign.

The game and its Online mode are LITERAL examples of abandonware. Rockstar spit on the potential of this incredible game, dumped all their time and resources in yet another cashgrab GTA Online pack. There has not been A SINGLE WORHTWILE ADDITION TO RDR2 IN LITERAL YEARS!!!!! What the actual HELL!

My review will stay exactly as it is because you did NOTHING to remove the paid microtransactions. End. Of. Story. Have a good bankruptcy and pleasant absorption into TenCent holdings. :D

The game was solid. Game-play was solid. If the game had to be reviewed based on the game and not its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ developers and their corporate overlords, i would give it a 7/10. But the developers sold out to TenCent, the most evil asian corporation there is, and within months introduced a microtransaction shop with predatory prices. Now they are "admitting" the prices are a bit high and then will claim all is fixed when they reduce the price a bit. This is a classic misdirection tactic and unfortunately it has proven to work game after game. Gamers will be too overjoyed about the price reduction that they will forget the microtransaction cancer was introduced in the first place.

Shameful. Absolutely shameful and disgusting management of a company, its intellectual property and its fans. Techland, i had respect and high hopes for you. End of the day you are just corporate suits after all. Never buying another game from the likes of you. Wish you a swift bankruptcy and quick descent into obscurity. Enjoy getting reamed out by your new Chinese corporate gods. You deserve it.

Well... Here it is. It is time to finally commit my review of this game, after years and years of holding off.

I decided not to post my review earlier because i believed its future. I believed the game will be amazing one day, and because i love it so much, i will be able to write a good review.

With a heavy heart i have to say, that is not the case.


I will never forget my first foray into DayZ mod, all those years back. My first kill, the shaking hands, the pounding heart. NO OTHER game ever came close to give me those kind of emotions! So when they released DayZ Standalone for early access i jumped on it and even talked a group of friends to commit as well. The development has been bumpy to say the least. Key people leaving the company, idiotic decision to start building it on outdated engine, then 2 years into development scrapping it all and remaking the engine again. Mismanaged and utterly wasted potential. This game has become the laughing stock of gaming industry and those friends i convinced to buy it with me poke and jab at me about the development progress all the time. I will never live it down, i will forever be ashamed of it.

The "new" engine promised better foundation for the bright future to come! What a crock of lies and utter bullshoot. The game launched in 1.0 with more than HALF of its features gone and with empty promises to work them back in post-launch. In the recent devblog they had the gall to actually announce that parity with the much more feature complete 0.62 and even ancient DayZ Mod is apparently impossible on the "new" engine! What the fries was even the frying point!?

Not only did they throw in the towel when it comes to re-introduction of ancient promised features, they even had the audacity to hide behind their decision not to include advanced medical systems and broken legs to "be more accessible to casual players"!!! What the actual flip! Are you kidding me?!

Not only that, they also decided that NOW is a good time to mention that they are working on PAID DLC!!!! PAID FLIPPING DLC! Nah. Naaaah. Frick that! ANYONE and i literally mean ANYONE who ever gives these cucks a single dollar for any game or DLC they make is a frickin traitor and a mental asylum candidate. Being lied to for years, through their friggin teeth, and then coming out with all this?

To all the price-per-hours-of-fun whiners out there, stop it. It does not matter how long you played the game or how much you paid for it. You PAID for it. Thats the core of it. You PAID for something they DID NOT DELIVER.

STAY THE FLUX AWAY from this heaping dumpster-fire!


P.S. I hope all the liars at the head of this project like Hicks, Martin, Peter, Eugen and even the useless community leader Baty NEVER get another job in gaming industry EVER AGAIN! Flipping burgers would be too much of responsibility to give them, they would never add the sauce or condiments they promised.

This game gets a "Flux You / 10" for me. Never again.

Free to play done right. One of the few games out there i dont mind spending money on.

Scumbag developers charging for DLC while still in early access. Then they release full game and drop a 20$ DLC days later. ♥♥♥♥ you very much, im not biting. You already bamboozled enough of my money out of me. If the game had been free since early access launch this priced DLC would be acceptable. Hope all your computers get a virus and may your sandwitches always fall with the buttered side down.
