Overall, the game is pretty good. I liked Total War: Shogun 2's army mechanics more, but the diplomacy in Three Kingdoms is more interesting. The technologies/research tree in the game is also an interesting change as you get something new every 5 turns, and it becomes active immediately when you "issue" it. Still missed when you could just make armies without generals, but maybe this was what the Creative Assembly figured seemed more realistic for the time period.
