PLAY ON RUNELITE. This is an amazing game but don't play on steam as runelite is so much better.
I have 1500 hours in the past year and I find this game to be great fun once you start doing group activities.
I am in a clan with individuals from all around the world, and even though time zones seperate us, our love for gaming brings us together.

I would recommend this game as the best FTP game on the market. It has plenty of things to do (some I would not recommend actually getting into) some that I would not recommend because their state of polish may be off-putting at first.
The main type of missions you will play are group missions, and they are wonderful. You will meet many people, all different, and all have their own different play styles.
Then you will find a subset of group missions called archwing. I would not recommend this type of mission to my worst enemy especially after the archwing nerf. It plays poorly and is just not fun.
Then you have open worlds in which there are two. They play well but I recommend you recruit for a group to fit your cause, weather fishing, mining, or fighting bosses.
Then we come to Conclave. Don't Do Conclave.
