I Truly hate to make this review. I love this game. A lot! (200+ Hours). I play it every day.
The devs are some of the most talented and passionate out there at the moment. This change, yes although it is contractual, is really bad for the game. Sony said on their website PSN accounts are optional for PSN titles on PC. They changed it, and reversed their decision on making these accounts optional. Because the PSN isn't available to 177 countries. So many people who played and loved this game are now not able to even play it. All because of SONY's Corporate greed and forcing others to comply with there demands. all under the pretense of "provides a consistent and reliable means of reporting, moderation, actioning and appeal for ALL Helldivers 2 players. We take online safety seriously and this is our main way to protect players from griefing and abuse: by enabling the banning and suspension of players that engage in that type of behavior. By linking accounts, you have the benefit of our extensive support team infrastructure for reporting these bad actors (and our appeals process if you are banned/suspended). This all helps us to make Helldivers 2 a safer and more enjoyable space for everyone."

I will NEVER Trust SONY PSN! they have a really Crappy track record!

-September 2023: Sony Investigates Alleged Hack
-October 2023: Sony Notifies Employees of Data Breach

I really hope this review and the 10000+ others with help open the eyes of SONY. STOP BEING GREED PIECES OF CRAP! WE DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOUR CONSOLE WAR OR FORCING YOUR AGENDA ONTO PEOPLE! We are gamers! We want fun games to unite us it the already messed up world!
So they can know they destroyed the one game that truly was good and had true potential This is to give the devs more negotiating room at the table with Sony to reverse this decision.

Sadly the Damage is done.

Still suck at this game still trash 3 1/2 thumbs up

Such a great game
Played during Closed Beta had a blast

Sad ALOT more people tried playing it then the servers could support.
Best part the are communicating to everyone in Discord on the status of things.

I love and hate this game. Love all the beutiful landscape and dinos and tameing. but hate when you fail so bad that you rage quit... but i will keep coming back for the Pros out weigh the Cons keep up the good work
