People behind hawken should really step up their game on the PR and advertising department...

Even ignoring gameplay and graphics, this game is already great for not having BS netcode, glitches, bugs and what not. Before Asian servers gained popularity. I had to play West Coast servers and had to deal with 200+ ping everytime. I was lucky to have around 150 ping. Even then, the game "netcode" felt better than Battlefield 4 with around 20 ping. Simply put, in this game, whe you die, it's guaranteed it was your fault and not some glitched bullet than curved around walls.

Now for the gameplay. For a damn long time I have always for a fresh concept. Games like COD or BF are fun, no doubt, but it's always been pretty much the same gameplay wise. This game introduces new movement (sliding), Y axis movement (Jet packs), TIGHT gunplay, and a VERY wide range of gameplay style (Each mech has it's own style. You'll for sure find the mech that suits your play style). Simply put, gameplay is an A++ for me.

However all this goodness does come at a cost. New players WILL be fustrated as they're skill set from other games don't carry over. (Even a simple skillset such as aiming is slightly different in this game. You're turning speed is limited. So you can't 180 turn and pop someones head with pixel accuracy in a milisecond). The learning curve is STEEP. What's more fustrating is that once you get over the tutorial you'll have learnt the BARE BASIC of the gameplay. As said earlier how every mech is different, you'll need to continue learning another set of skills specific for each mech before you are any good in it. So don't cry too hard when you join a match and someone just completely annihilate you.

Overall I'd reccomend this game to anyone who loves a challenge or want a fresh FPS experience. This isn't a same old modern shooter with a mech paint job. So those of you who wants to pop in this game and start wrecking should pass for this game.
