Blender is an amazing and powerful piece of software that can (and does) compete with industry leading, expensive competitors, while being free of charge and open source.

If you're interested in creating stunning, photorealistic 3D art and animation, there really is no reason to spend any money, because Blender does it all. Consider donating though if you like it.

Snappy controls, good graphics and fun gameplay. Already looks very promising.

The good:

+ Great voice actors
+ Gripping story
+ Several "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" moments
+ Devs don't hold back on gore (this game really isn't for kids)
+ The rats make you feel uneasy at all times
+ Good graphics with beautiful lighting
+ Clever puzzles

The bad:

- The game is a bit too easy at times. Resources are so plentiful that you're never in danger of running short
- Seems poorly optimized for PC. I have a beefy computer and had to run it on medium settings to get 60 FPS
- Even then I got random framedrops ever so often
- Some bugs and glitches, although nothing game breaking
- I thought Sean Bean would be in it :(

Overall a great game. I rate it 8.5/10.

Fantastic successor of Castlevania and Metroid with wonderful procedurally generated levels and items. Every run feels very different, keeping the game fresh and entertaining. Combat is cool, easy to learn, but hard to master. The graphics are wonderful and fit the tone of the game very well. Oh, and don't get me started on the awesome soundtrack!

The cherry on top is the wonderful developers who constantly update and expand the game.

Buy it for the gameplay, not the story.

The gameplay is like you would expect from a Far Cry game. Fast-paced gun battles with decent difficulty. You will die a lot if you're not careful.

What is really bad is the story. The setting is somewhat interesting, although I find it hard to believe that the US government wouldn't simply shut the cult down with military.

What really irks me is the fact that you can create your own character. I guess they thought it would make it easier for you to identify with your character, but the opposite is the case. Remember Far Cry 3? Even though the story wasn't very original, the fact that your character could talk and commented on in-game events made you connect with him. He had personality and you felt his pain.

In Far Cry 5 you are just some random dude (or chick) with no name and no voice. You really don't care for the Deputy, which means you are also a lot less invested in the games story, which is a shame.

Overall, I would still recommend this game if you can get it in a sale.

Still in an early state and kinda buggy, but it already looks promising and is a lot of fun.

Awesome game so far. It has a few issues with server connectivity, but that is to be expected for release day.

Medieval Soap Opera Simulator.

The DLC is pretty overpriced, get them while they're on sale - which happens all the time.
