Amazing game. Would recommend. UNFORTUNATELY - this game runs into the same performance issues that all games of this genre run into once you reach the mid to late game. At ~100 patients / 100 staff, I'm down to about 25 FPS on a Ryzen 5900X + RTX 3090.

All games like this have this problem... prison architect, banished etc. Factorio is the only game I about that was designed from the ground-up to avoid this.

Fantastic game - highly recommend.

Unfortunately, as with many builder games (prison architect, tropico, etc...) the game begins to 'break down' as the hospital gets big. Staff and patients have to walk massive distances to reach the corners of your hospital and it turns into what is essentially a logistical nightmare.

This problem is hardly unique to this game. Every game I'm aware of that it is even remotely in this category of games has balance/gameplay/performance problems once the world gets large/massive. Too bad game devs usually don't have the foresight to consider what happens after 8 hours of gameplay.
