Good scary funny game with friends.

Only good multiplayer zombie survival game out rn. Fun and brutal at the beginning. Then there's tons of areas to explore and skills to master. It can get stale after reaching end game but you can always extend the lifespan with mods.

CRAFTING SIMULATOR
The game is really centered around crafting but the crafting is way too convoluted. I shouldn't have to go through 5 different workstations in order to craft one item. Instead of having multiple levels of workstations, allow us to upgrade a workstation in order to reduce the amount of steps we need to take to craft something. Distracts me too much from the actual fun parts of the game.

Good hack and slash.

The game is fun. Fun to explore, progress, smash zombies, and manage settlements. Only cons are that Co-op is a little too easy and that there is no real sandbox (It forces you to end the game/start over at some point).

Current build of the game leaves u blind due to high amounts of fog and bloom, deaf due to footstep audio changes. The movement in general is slow and clunky. And the overall balancing with pvp is not fun. Takes way to long to kill people and most of the guns are not consistent. The lobby is also stupid and makes it take 3x longer to set up your character.

It's sad but increasingly common to see sequels fail to meet the quality of the previous title. This game play is buggy and laggy, especially in co-op which is what I enjoyed most in the first Dying Light. A shocking downgrade. Not sure how much more is going to be improved at this point since they stopped the QOL patches and moved on to the DLC content already. So I'm just gonna say buy this on a REALLY good sale to try ($20?), otherwise don't bother.
