This game is very interesting. When I bought it, I thought it was a CivCity Rome like game. Nope.
You are building a city, yes. A Roman city. But the gameplay is totally different. Hard to discribe as I haven't played much, but Just so you know, it is not a CivCity Rome knockoff.

This game is really a time eater. If you are looking for a game that is slow paced, has a slow learning curve, completly open ended, full of choices, and is challenging but not too hard, then this game is for you.
You play the role of an entire family, that means you can control every person in your family, excluding the doughters... Aladeen was right "is it a boy or an abortion?". lol. sorry if you didn't get that reference or the joke.
overall it is a really fun game if you have the time.
BEWARE: it is FULL of bugs: characters not doing what they are supposed to, talking with different voices, and many more. Get the Expansion, Renaissance, if you want a less buggy experience. At least that's what I heard, have not tested.
