I like the game. I like some of the characters and the hinted setting that a huge amount of the world has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the Ice Lords before they got to the country area whatever ♥♥♥♥ that you are and before that part of the world knew about it. BUT I can not recommend and never will as it years later still a thing it sure as ♥♥♥♥ ain't ever gonna change and that is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up combat. Combat is laughably unbalance. Levels do nothing aside from change how many skill and perk points you have. That I can max out the damage resistance to a mighty whooping.... ♥♥♥♥ all... seriously it makes no difference. From start to end everything has three times to thirty plus times more health and slaps you for no less NO LESS at the minimum a quarter of your health :facepalm: (minor blows aside)

Only two companions are useful as companions can't do any damage with some spells being the exception but so inconsistent it don't count. One is the healer and other is Edwen cause she looks the best. Only other thing that kinda counts is just tell them to focus on defending and they just keep blocking and take some enemies attention.

I overall recommend the game as it is good for what it is a low budget game. If it's on sale get the game. It's far better then loads of other ♥♥♥♥ you can find here.

I like the setup and environment. The VA, animations and other things are fine that is easy to accept and don't kill the game. Soundtrack is pretty decent. I wanna be less harsh but... some other things are however unacceptable as they do kill the game

I cant thumb up while there are some huge issues aka the unacceptable parts

-Bike is ♥♥♥♥. Bike slides too much
-take too much damage bumping into anything on the bike
-♥♥♥♥ camera angle and no control make bike so far worse
-Pistol shoots left of crosshair
-protagonist is kinda stocky
-no infinite sprint for the overly large distances
-can't mod the companion ball robot to be white with pink hearts in the middle

I hope that the developers have learned a lot and that their next game is an improvement

I'd recommend if the campaign was playable, players units couldn't damage the players own buildings, show me my resources and you could build and objectives were clear and the way to win. Skirmish ifself is alright. TLDR summary of the game is Supreme Commander (the greatest RTS game ever made) but it is a budget version for potato PCs

Not worth it right now. Go play Endzone if this floats your fancy. Research is just stupid as can be as its to slow and other stupid details including that aside from reaching BS numbers for research. One building taking 3 of your people gives a trickle of 5 at a time. Bunch of stuff takes hundreds and others few thousand. Gotta research to unlock the "signal tower" expedition building then use it AND it's all random from searches/expeditions to when you can unlock the building the upgrade to the research station. Seems like playing with everything researched is a mandatory option. On the "easy" setting (without changing the few settings) game takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever. Unplayable with winds on as it then takes a stupid amount of people to always gather coal then rng on if storm long enough to ♥♥♥♥ you over. Pissing about with resource micromanagement and getting research and running out of plastic, make this far more a chore then a fun game at this time. Lastly the expedition station or here the signal tower don't work if you send people out. When sending them out you need resources to send out AND to have them return as well... so not enough to have em return then the tower does F*ck all and you can't set the canned food to be left alone only for that group. No story or anything at all or even objectives. Just a handful of a few maps to pick from which there ain't anything wrong with by itself. Game has no replay value at all really as it is a inane tedious chore to get your "town" started and not have it die out. Half wits with too much time to spare or those with odd masochistic tendencies will play at harder levels and take friggin hours and hours to get up the tech tree with the absurd tedious nonsense of sparing the 5 or less people on progress instead of just surviving.This is on top of certain important points like how the bloody hell do you produce plastic? 🤷 This does not answer that question words of the dev "You can produce plastic with the help of Plastic Collectors or by collecting from the ruins."So you can NOT produce plasticYou can't remove the default set treesYou can be screwed for running out of plastic

What if the new doom games were not a pile of rotting dogsh*t? This game is what you would get.
Only issue with the game is the it is too easy until the way later stages. If you can aim good you can just keep using the pistol and just headshot all the way to the end of the game, for the most part. Not counting the times when other weapons are mandatory or when surrounded. Hard difficulty is about medium so that's where most should start

Very simple and straight forward game with a few faults easily ignored due to the absurd rarity of games where you can play the good guys who shoot at scum that in the future become what makes the worst of the highly overrated worst of nazis look like pansies and sissies. That alone makes the game worth supporting and worth the price. That aside only thing I legit hate is that after a while (and really kills the game for me) is the stupid amount of airplanes that make it so you only have two options 1 the sky or 2 the ground NO IN BETWEEN! Really want a option to disable the airplanes and just go as far as I can go in that mode alone

Poor addition to this low tier game. Engineer is mostly defensive abilities and since the game has the god amazingly awful design of having you need to run about particularly across the map all the damn time with slow move speeds.... The stuff the engineer gets is cool but overall not very useful whatsoever for the most part. Most of its abilities require time to set up to not be totally damn worthless like example putting down one part of a fence that is worthless without more parts >-> As the times to sit around long enough in a place to make good tactical use (aka require good placement to make ability worthwhile) of the abilities is pretty nil.

Just to use the electric fence as a example as it's among the easier stuff to place down without a long ass wait and needs no charging...
-it is total ♥♥♥♥ even when set up ideally
-one pillar gone huge damn gap if even set up past two pillars in the first place
-does ♥♥♥♥ all at stopping or slowing enemies
-only tickles enemies as long as said enemies come from a very specific direction
and the fences cousin the repeller pylon is a full on joke and so bad it ain't even meme worthy
The UBAS is kinda meh lacking oomph and tedious in what it takes to get and then use

F no and no and hell nah. Broke mission triggers aside a lot of missions are really stupid and intentionally really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow. Gotta wait, gotta go to nav point but only a super f'ing loooong around way to location. Gotta go away from base while being spammed by attacks.... nah I dont recommend

Not a bad game fundamentally just one I pretty much can't recommend. I don't recommend unless you are aware of what you're getting into. Game is very inconvenient in several ways. Distance to cover is pointlessly far all the while if the main building is lost when you're too far away to save it you lose. Bunch of things aren't ever explained or mentioned in any way. Keys being among them and you can't change them. Unmentioned unit cap. A lot of missions for most part have points where you are 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unless you did something and gotta restart unless you saved. Difficulty is ♥♥♥♥ all and not sure if it does anything cause even easy is impossible unless you already know what you need to do. Lot of the difficultly ain't anything to do with difficultly but just ♥♥♥♥ game design. Also for pretty most every single mission if you lose your vehicle you are totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it is game over.

Overly simplistic and only two opportunities to play the good guy (and only one of two smart people in the game) in the campaign. The rank thing is stupid as hell and I can't quite figure it out cause even when I super cheesed it to get an S it wasnt acheiveable yet easily was on other mission for some reason. Game is too silly and the power of friendship is extremely cringy and way over the top
