I am getting more into story-heavy games right now. Baldur's Gate 3 really showed me how fantastic complex stories in games can be. And Disco Elysium blew my mind out of my skull with its creativity, humor, and pathos. Those two are some of the best games I've played in my long millenial life, and I played them both in a row. I feel spoiled right now.

Before that, I was mostly into city builders, and occasional first person shooters. I don't play multiplayer fast-paced games at all anymore, because I sporadically pick up and then put down my PC gaming hobby, as I have other hobbies and responsibilities now, and having to always keep my reflexes sharp becomes a chore for me.
