Can it be true about the saying that the 3rd one is always the worst one? Sadly this saying is true for this 3rd installment. It is a pain to not recommend a series that I have been following for years.

Always been a big fan WH40K and DOW. The Gameplay had changed from a Company of heroes resource squad based gameplay to a Halo Wars 2 and Warcraft 3 mix. I had enjoyed it for the first few hours just from seeing how much the game has changed graphic wise and gameplay wise, base building is back and a slightly improved customization in the army painter.

I just can't help but Imagine them putting all the races and faction that 40K has to offer and placed in this game, just like what they did on the first DOW and its stand alone expansions. Maybe even learning from the modders who made the Ultimate Apocalypse mod in which they basically made DOW Soulstorm alive and well.

Sadly the Developer kind of left the game as it is. The game had the potential to become a success if given more factions, Updates, MAPS!!! or even DLC's, but again they seem to have forgotten what made DOW and DOW2 such a success.
