Really underrated game that combines fast paced brawling, platforming, puzzles, and an interesting story in one unique package. The memory remixes are the main draw of the game but there should have been more than 4 and the game a little bit longer. Other than that the game is great. 9/10

Lives up to the hype. Touching story and very clever puzzle design that utilizes both brothers in ways that are pretty straightforward. Game is pretty short and achievements are easy to get. Contrary to what the store page says, a controller is not required to play. I finished the game with just keyboard and mouse and did not have much difficulty aside from maybe one or two puzzles. Definitely get this on a sale.

This game is very similar to LA Noire but instead you are a ghost detective in the present day instead of an LAPD detective in the 40s. The gameplay mainly consists of walking around and examining objects in the environment to help solve cases. If that bores you, don't get this game because there is not even much of a combat system aside from sneak attacking demons once in a while. It is kind of open world in the sense that you are free to walk around town and collect objects to solve side cases, but the lack of any sort of map or minimap makes exploration a hassle. With all that being said, I enjoyed the story and atmosphere of the game, which is surprisingly a bit lighthearted for a game about ghosts. It took me about 7 hours to complete the game and I also took my time to grab most of the collectibles as well.

Verdict: Definitely get this on a sale, it is short but sweet. 6/10

Way better than the critic reviews in my opinion. I bought it for $4 on Humble Store and was pleasantly surprised by how fun it is. Basically a low budget Tomb Raider in first person, with some hilariously bad voice acting. Grab it on a sale for $5 or less. 6.5/10

Really fun and neat puzzle game. Kind of creepy but more mysterious. In-game hints make everything manageable so there shouldn't be any need for outside guides. Ending puzzles were disappointing but a sequel is directly implied at the end credits. There aren't too many of these puzzle-focused games around so it has that distinction.

Pros: Good graphics, responsive controls, mostly strong puzzle design, eyepiece function adds new dimension to puzzle solving
Cons: Very short (finished in a few hours), some puzzles are recycled throughout game, some of them are too easy even without hints

Verdict: 7/10. Grab it on sale for a few bucks if you like mildly challenging puzzle games in an eerie atmosphere.

Interesting first-person horror game that is grounded in social/political commentary about the ills of society and man's effort to save humanity from self-destructing (albeit in a morbid way involving lots of pigs). Also deals about the consequences of playing God in order to make that happen. Play this game for the slow-building tension and suspense that accompanies a profound story about one man's quest for redemption in an unforgiving world.

Overall, this game is nowhere near as scary as the first Amnesia. The first game was more focused on instilling a constant fear and dread in players, while this sequel is more focused on having players slowly unravelling the sad story of one man's ambition. Puzzles are boring but easy (I rarely ever got stuck and the lantern in this game has endless energy so you won't have to worry about finding matchboxes like the last game. Get this game on sale for 5 bucks because I bought it for the same price and spent 5 hours to complete it, even as I explored the levels for the notes that added to the games' story.

I highly recommend this game if you want a pure, sniping experience that is packed with enough action to satisfy any FPS fan. The main drawbacks with this game is that it is only 10 hrs long (each level can be completed in about an hour) and if you are spotted at any time in a level it is kind of difficult to get out of as it only takes a couple hits, depending on difficulty, to die. The sniping mechanics are solid as it tries to be as realistic as possible, with the bullet curving to match the wind conditions and angles. It is really fun to line up enemies for a one-shot, double-kill action. The locales in this game are pretty unique for any game, as it features the Phillipines (Russian mercs), Bosnia (Serbian army), and Tibet (Islamic insurgents). The graphics are very detailed using the CryEngine to fully demonstrate its power. Buy this game when it goes on sale, I got it for $5 on a Steam Sale but I would not pay more than $10 for this game as it is very short and the replay value is limited to your inclination of sniping bad guys, but the whole ride is fun while it lasts.

This game completely exceeded my expectations. When I first saw the trailer gameplay, I quickly dismissed it as a Bioshock rip-off (actually in some ways it is, like being able to use superhuman powers like summon rats to kill enemies or even manipulate time and the overall creepy tone of the game with the Weeper xombie-like enemies that reminded me of the deranged Splicers from the Bioshock games) but the overall gameplay is a lot more fun than Bioshock 1 or 2 (I haven't played Infinite yet). The reason is because it allows for so many different options to either bypass or eliminate enemies. For example the Blink teleportation power allows for quick teleporting over short distances that can be used to access difficult areas or instantly appear behind enemies and dispatch them. There are many hiding places as well for stealth playthroughs, such as hiding underneath tables and fireplaces to avoid contact with enemies. Speaking of stealth, the game actually encourages you to not kill people other than your targets by the increase of rats and Weepers in each level depending on how many people you have killed. The story is serviceable but a bit generic, as it basically involves a government bodyguard who is framed for the murder of his Empress by his own comrades and must exact revenge on his adversaries with the obligatory plot twists added for good measure. The graphics are pretty good (I only ran it on medium-high and I only encountered minor buffering problems), but I didn't really like the cartoon-like visual style of the game because it looked kind of weird.

Not only is this the best superhero game ever made, its also at least top ten in open world games as well. Combat is amazingly addictive and crazy

An interactive Hollywood action game in a tropical open world. Doesn't get any crazier than this!
