While this game may only be in Alpha, DotE is quickly becoming one of my favorite games of the year.

With beautifully designed rooms (who says pixel sprites can't look great), an array of unique and rather charming heroes to play with and a learning curve not impossible to work with, Dungeon of the Endless is a seemingly simple Rouge-Like Defense game with more happening than it is letting on. Dungeon of the Endless has so much to offer once development has finished, and is already offering so much in its current form.

Trying to balence your heroes who are defending with those exploring takes much trial and error, a number of game over screens facing you before a rhythm of sorts is developed. Finding which heroes work better against which enimies, of which there are a number, also takes time. Once again, it may take several game over screens for a rhythm to develop.

All in all, a game well worth your $10-15 to play as it develops.
